Welcome to this central Brighton end of terrace townhouse. Previously a garage, it was converted to a two-storey end-of-terrace house with a backyard patio in 2019. Private entrance. 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, and 2 double sofa beds.

Very centrally located, the house is 5 minutes' walk to the seafront, 2 minutes to Churchill Square Shopping Centre and 10-15 minutes to Brighton station, nonetheless it is fairly quiet and private. It can comfortably host 6 people and has a full capacity of 8-9.

The space
The ground floor has high ceilings and consists of an open kitchen/dining area/living room, a WC and a backyard patio. The dining table can seat at least 6 people. There are two sofa beds which can be unfolded into two double beds (130cm x 191cm).

NOTE: It is by purpose to only allow one section of the patio door to be opened whilst the others locked, this is both for security reason and to minimise disturbance to neighbours. The photos showing fully opened patio door are for illustration only.

The 1st floor consists of a large double bedroom, a smaller double bedroom and a full bathroom. Both bedrooms are carpeted and have build-in wardrobes.

The larger bedroom has a standard double bed (135 cm x 190 cm) and a sofa bed which can be converted into a single bed (108 cm x 200 cm). The smaller bedroom has a small double bed (120 cm x 190 com). Both beds have comfortable reflex foam mattresses.

Overall the house can comforatbly host 6 people and have a full capacity of 8-9 people.

Castle Street is a one-way street and the house has double glazed windows throughout. Despite the very central location, it is usually very quiet and private - a peaceful oasis in the middle of central Brighton.

Professional cleaned. Linens, towels, shampoo/handwash etc. will be provided.

A limited number of visitor's parking permits available to purchase for £14 each while they last. Each permit is valid for 1 calendar day in zone Z of Brighton.

Guest access
Guests can use the whole house including the backyard, I don't live there. You will collect the keys from a key safe outside the house, using the code that I will send you on the day of your arrival, normally around mid-day.

At checkout please remember to put the keys back in the key safe, scramble the code and close the cover.

Other things to note
It is advisable to bring you own slippers - both for your own comfort and to protect the flooring and carpet in wet weather days.

Before booking please double check and make sure you can adhere to the House Rules, especially, please don't be loud either inside the house or out on the patio so as not to disturd the peaceful neighbourhood, no smoking indoors, etc.

Parking could be difficult in downtown Brighton, but there are a few large car parks nearby. It is free to park on Castle Street 8pm - 9am. A limited number of visitor's parking permits available to purchase for £14 each while last, each valid for 1 calendar day (0-24:00) in zone Z.

Neighborhood highlights

The house is centrally located on Castle Street of Brighton. It is 2 minute's walk to Brighton's main shopping street Western Road on the north, 5 minutes' walk to the seafront and British Airways i360 on the south, 1 minute's walk to the Brighton's famous food street Preston Street on the West, and 3 minutes' walk to Brighton's biggest shopping centre Churchill Square Shopping Centre on the east.

Despite the very central location Castle Street is in general fairly private and quiet - however, being in central Brighton, absolute quietness cannot be guaranteed at all times of course. It is also discreetly trendy, with a music recording studio and two gyms (one boxing gym and one conventional gym) opposite the house, and a snooker bar further down the road.

There are a lot of restaurants, bars, shops and cafes near the house, making it a very convenient place to stay in Brighton. Cafe Nero, Costa Coffee, Primark, McDonald's, Argos, Sainsburys, Waitrose, Marks & Spencer, Poundland, Churchill Square Shopping Centre, Robert Dyras and numerous restaurants and bars are all within 3 minutes' walk.
