Small cosy house on the hillside with mezzanine bedroom, terrasse with Monchique mountain view, close to all shops and restaurants of Aljezur. Excellent starting point to visit the beaches nearby (Amoreira, Monte Clerigo, Arrifana).
Typical Portuguese house in Aljezur oldtown. In old time it used to be a donkey shelter ! Walls are made of Taipa (clay) which keep freshness in summer time.
The house is newly totally renovated (2019).

Old house completely renovated and decorated with attention. It accommodates 2 travelers in a queen size bed on the mezzanine.
Available for your comfort: fully equipped kitchen, wood stove for the winter (incl firewood!), indoor hammock, sound system with bluetooth, small barbecue, washing machine. Possibility of storing surfboard, bike, etc. in the annex house.
Terrace in front of the house (facing east) equipped with a table and chairs to enjoy a breakfast in the sun for example !
Wifi with fiber (120gb)
House located close to all shops. Possibility of parking on the large public parking located 50m down the house.

About your arrival the best is to park on the main road (rua 25 de abril) closest to pizzeria Arte Bianca, as you cant access rua da saudade by car (tiny portuguese street!). There is also a big parking in front. Parking around here is all for free!
Then on the right side of the pizzeria there are tiny stairs. You take them and on the top you are in front of the house!
If you have big luggage on wheels, you can also walk up via the street (rua do vento and then rua da saudade).

The old center of Aljezur is very popular with travelers for its charm and typical Portuguese houses. It is very pleasant to stroll through the winding streets that lead to the ruins of the castle that dominates the city. The view of the mountains of Monchique is very pretty.
Aljezur is an excellent strategic point to visit the surrounding area with everything less than 30min drive:
- beaches: Amoreira, Monte Clerigo, Arrifana for the nearest ones. (10min)
- Monchique village and mountains for some hikes
- other typical villages around to visit: Odeceixe, Vila do Bispo and the city of Lagos
