Casa da Maria is a peaceful countryside house in Aljezur, surrounded by nature and close to beautiful beaches.

The house accommodates up to 6 guests, with 3 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, living room and private outdoor spaces.

Enjoy the quiet surroundings, barbecue area, outdoor shower, fireplace and space to relax after a day at the beach or exploring the Vicentine Coast.

The house is solar-powered, offering a more sustainable stay in nature.

The space

The house is powered mainly by solar panels and batteries, with gas used for cooking and hot water. A backup generator is available when needed.

The house has a regular mains water supply. Water collected from the nearby channel is used for garden irrigation.

These systems provide all the comfort you need, but we kindly ask guests to be mindful of their energy and water consumption during their stay.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire property and can enjoy the surrounding nature, including beautiful sunsets by the water channel that runs alongside the house.

For the more adventurous, the channel also offers the possibility of a refreshing dip.

Other things to note
As Casa da Maria is surrounded by nature, we kindly ask guests to be especially careful with candles, barbecues, fires and hot ashes, particularly during the warmer months.

Please make sure any flames are fully extinguished and help us take care of the natural surroundings.

Casa da Maria is located in Maria Vinagre, a small village in the Aljezur area, surrounded by the protected nature of the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park.

The location offers the best of both worlds: peace and nature, while being close to Aljezur, beautiful beaches and some of the region’s best surf spots.

Cafés, restaurants and supermarkets are also within easy reach, making it a convenient base for exploring the Costa Vicentina, enjoying the beaches and experiencing the local way of life.
