Comfy bed for better sleep

The room-darkening shades and extra bedding are loved by guests.
Escape to a cozy retreat in the heart of Willow, AK - surrounded by towering birch trees and the soothing sounds of a babbling creek. This tiny cabin offers a peaceful escape into nature while providing the comforts of home.

Inside, you'll find a welcoming space with a queen and two twin beds. The full kitchen allows you to prepare hearty meals after a day of exploring. Enjoy sipping on your coffee while you listen to the creek and sink into a relaxing connection to nature.

The space
You're welcome to explore the entire 1.25 acre property. It is wooded with mostly birch trees. We have the property treated for mosquitoes but they're still active in the wooded areas during the summer months. There is a small, babbling creek on the property as well.

Visitors in the spring can watch or try their hand at tapping the birch trees for sap. Summer visitors will enjoy the tall fireweed plants surrounding the property while visitors in the fall are welcome to join us in picking the abundant high bush cranberries. And in the winter, visitors can play in the snow while heading just half a mile away to the start of the Iditarod race!

Train enthusiasts will love watching the passenger trains pass by. We love waving at the passengers.

The outdoor space is shared with my family and other campground guests.

You may explore the entire campground, especially down by the creek. Please be mindful of other campground guests and keep an eye out for moose!

Other things to note
The stairs are a bit steep and can be slippery in socks. Please be cautious and use the handrails.
