ONLY biodegradable, scent-free products allowed. A quaint, rustic spring fed private cabin (over 100 years old!) on an organic farm, less than 5 minutes from Hwy 30 (en route to the coast), surrounded by cedar forest and wildlife. A peaceful alternative to crowded coastal vacations.
Set among seasonal gardens with sheep and ducks sometimes nearby, the clean, well-cared-for cabin reflects the natural rhythms of farm life.

The space
Clawfoot bathtub, indoor shower, and a refreshing outdoor shower (available for use in summer months).
Queen-size bed with organic cotton sheets for a simple, comfortable night’s rest.
Full kitchen stocked with organic, single-origin Columbia River coffee and an assortment of organic teas.
All water comes from our on-site spring — please use sparingly during the summer months.
Unplug for a few days. There’s no Wi-Fi, but you’ll have strong Verizon and AT&T service to use a hotspot with the smart TV. Enjoy our DVD collection and board games, or visit nearby cafés for internet access.
Short trail loop through the cedar forest is a must. Discover the hidden gnome doors to uncover the secret message, then follow the trail to our tucked-away spring — a quiet place to sit, reflect, and listen to what the world is asking of us.
This is a truly rustic, working farm cabin. You may encounter spider webs, weathered wood, and signs of real use — all part of staying close to the land. The cabin is clean and well cared for, but not sterile or newly renovated, it's over 100 years old!
Sustainability is central to how we host. We thoughtfully maintain and repair items and avoid discarding functional furnishings or fixtures simply for cosmetic reasons, so some signs of normal wear are part of that commitment.
We use organic cotton linens and care for them without bleach or harsh chemicals. Because of this, linens may show light staining over time while still being fully clean and freshly laundered. We ask that guests please treat our linens with care and respect this approach.
We use eco-friendly, unscented cleaning products and kindly ask guests to do the same.
Please only use biodegradable, scent-free body and cleaning products during your stay — this is especially important due to our septic system and organic farming practices.
We’re quite sensitive to fragrances, and scented products are noticeable in the space. If scented or non-biodegradable products are used, an additional cleaning fee will be applied.
Radiator heater provided. The living room heater will warm the cabin up lickety split.
Guest access
Please review the check-in guide before arriving. This is a self check-in stay, and the guide contains important arrival and access information. If you are arriving after dark and need assistance, please call before 9:00 pm, as we turn our phones off for the night.
You’ll have full access to the entire cabin, patio, and forest trail.
Please be sure to latch all gates behind you — this is very important for the safety of our farm and animals.
This is an active, working farm. During spring, summer, and fall, we spend a fair amount of time in the garden harvesting, weeding, and managing irrigation. You may see us around the property during these seasons. Our visits are purposeful and farm-related, and we’re always mindful of guests’ privacy. We love people and are happy to say hello, but we also fully respect your space and downtime.
Please note that Wood Lane is a private road with residences beyond the cabin. There is no turnaround at the end of the road, so we kindly ask that guests do not drive past the cabin driveway.

The loop winds through cedar forest and incredible plant life — and if you’re lucky, you may even spot some mushrooms along the way.

Flowers and Fluff and Farmhouse coffee are great for coffee and lunch.
The Clatskanie river flows through town with local boat launches so bring your kayaks!
We have a state of the art skate park and two city parks with some great paved walking paths.
The local swimming pool is open in the summer.
If you are a junk store addict, Clatskanie is your town.
If you are investigating the pacific NW, we are a great mid point with the ocean just down the road and Mt St Helens just as close in the other direction.
Beaver Falls is beautiful, highly recommend taking the drive!
