As featured in Country Homes and Interiors magazine, December 2021, No.27byTara is located just around the corner from Lincoln Cathedral and its historic cobbled streets. No.27 is an elegant cottage with a cool Scandi style. This cosy retreat is just a brief walk from Lincoln’s Bailgate area, with a wealth of independent shops and restaurants, the perfect place to curl up after a day out exploring.

The space
IMPORTANT NOTE - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

This is an old building and it is not detached - as such we would expect all our guests to be respectful of our neighbours... our strict 'quiet hours' - inside and outside - are from 10pm through until 7am.

Failure to follow these could put the future of No.27byTara in jeopardy.

No.27 is a scandi inspired cosy sanctuary. Every detail in this property from the original artwork on the walls to the ceramic handmade mugs have been lovingly collated to create a comfortable and unique place to stay. In the open plan living, kitchen and dining space you can relax and unwind in the glow of the warming log burning stove whilst listening to your favourite tunes on the Ruark stereo.

Upstairs you will find home from home comforts with a king size bed, Hypnos mattress and The White Company linens. Take a deep soak in the roll top bathtub or enjoy the spacious walk in shower. We provide The White Company towels, fluffy towelling robes and Neals Yard products to make your stay that bit more indulgent. Make the most of lazy mornings and watch the Freeview TV from the comfort of your bed or lounge, listen to the digital/bluetooth stereo or enjoy a coffee in the peaceful garden.

Your living area:
The living space is equipped with a Freeview television, a Ruark Stereo and WiFi.

In the kitchen area you can find a Nespresso coffee machine, oven and hob, a washer/dryer, and fridge/freezer. The kitchen is well equipped for those who prefer to dine in during their stay.

Unfortunately we cannot accept guests with young children.

Guest access
There is a small garden to the rear of the property which belongs to No.27. Guests can access this through the back door to the rear of the property or through a side gate which has shared access with neighbouring properties.

Free parking is available on the streets surrounding No.27.

Other things to note
Please be aware that No.27 is a nut free cottage due to the owner having a severe allergy.

No.27 is located on a residential street in uphill Lincoln, it is in close proximity to many bars, restaurants and to Lincoln’s best attractions. Bishop Grosseteste university is a short walk away and Lincoln University can also be easily reached from the property.

Most of Lincoln can be accessed by foot however just a short stroll away from No.27 is a bus stop that can take you to various locations around the city. For those who prefer to bike then hire bikes can be found just around the corner from No.27. Lincoln is also on the train line if you’d like to explore other parts of the UK.

Parking for No.27 can be found on the residential streets directly opposite to the property. There is no private parking for No.27 however a map will be provided on booking to help you locate the best places to park. Long stay car parks are also available for parking not too far away from the property.
