Welcome to Bungalow Bae, a gorgeous 1940s Retro Glam themed home located in the heart of historic downtown Jacksonville, NC. The home has been completely and painstakingly restored from the original hardwood floors to the farm sink in the kitchen. All furnishing are themed around the 1940s era when our country was fully engaged in WWII. Located walking distance to several parks, the rail trail, Camp Lejeune, Camp Johnson & New River Air Station. Huge back yard with firepit, horseshoes & more!

Emerse yourself in the 1940s era in this completely retro-glam themed home, from Rosie the Riviter to the Marine Corps flag raising on Iwo Jima. This is the perfect romantic getaway to visit your Marine or work from home with the blazing fast wifi. You'll love the plush furniture and comfy beds where no expense was spared or detail overlooked. Enjoy the fully stocked, retro style kitchen with a retro fridge and matching microwave and toaster. Help yourself to the extensive coffee and tea bar. Relax or work in the amazing sunroom/office with 2 work desks and sliding doors to the outdoor patio. Outdoors has tons more to offer with a retro style settee, a dining set, a charcoal grill, a privacy fenced yard with a gas fire pit, regulation horseshoe pits and tons of yard games from badminton to croquet. There are also lots of things to entertain yourself with inside. Check out the retro record player and the records from the 1940s. It also has Bluetooth, a CD player and an AM/FM radio. You won't be bored with all of the board games, card games, books and even an adult coloring book. There are also 3 smart tv's with Netflix provided and an electric fireplace to snuggle up to in the living room.

🚤⛵️🛶🌅🎣Bungalow Bae is located one mile from the Jacksonville Landing boat ramp on the New River, which will take you to the Intracoastal at North Topsail Island, Swansboro and beyond. There is plenty of on-street parking in front of Bungalow Bae, so bring your boat, jet skies, kayaks, paddleboards and fishing gear to enjoy all our beautiful coast has to offer.

While there, check out the Lejeune Memorial Gardens, which honors those who serve our country and is a place to gather to remember those who have given the greatest sacrifice for our freedom. It is home to the Beirut Memorial, the Onslow Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the Montford Point Marine Memorial, and 9/11 Memorial Beam from the World Trade Center.
