We welcome guests who hope to experience local activities and the quiet coziness of our property. Our modern farmhouse is comfortable, relaxing, and full of personally curated artwork and antiques. You’ll find in the backyard a screened cabin overhanging a brook, the perfect place to sit with a cup of coffee or nap in warmer months. Out back also are a large yard, spacious deck with outdoor seating and dining areas, and a hot tub for up to six adults (comfortably 2-4).

The space
General Information:
The house has ample space for cooking, dining, relaxing, and is surrounded by year-round recreation options. Bordering White Rocks and the Appalachian Trail, we're closest to Okemo’s Jackson Gore entrance, and approximately half an hour from Pico, Bromley, and Killington. Okemo's Jackson Gore entrance is 20 minutes away against traffic. The Appalachian trail and White Rocks National Park are just up the road. Golfing at Stonehedge and Green Mountain, fishing, boating, and swimming at Echo Lake are close by. Lake Bomoseen, the state’s largest lake, is half an hour away, and Lake George a little further west in New York.

First floor:
A formal entry leads to a king bedroom, which has an ensuite connection to a full bathroom. The bathroom also connects to the mudroom for shared house access; note that this is the only shower. The kitchen is fully-equipped for cooking and entertaining, a beautiful dining room seats eight, and there is a separate formal living room with a record player, WiFi stereo, fireplace (wax logs provided), and streaming services.

Second floor:
The main staircase leads to one king bedroom and one bedroom with two double beds on the second floor, which share a campy half-bath. The only shower is on the first floor.

Basement:
There's a spacious family media room with a smart TV for streaming services. A separate open laundry area connects to the back deck.

Backyard:
The back deck has our hot tub, along with outdoor dining and seating. The deck steps off onto a large lawn overlooking a brook, and leads to our screened cabin hanging over the water. The grill is located in the driveway, closest to the side garage entrance for easy rear-round use.

Guest access
Our guests will have access to the main house, screened cabin, hot tub, and front and backyards. The detached garage, backyard garden shed, and portions of the attached garage and basement are reserved for the owners’ use only.

Other things to note
We welcome reservations only from Airbnb guests who have established accounts with 5-star reviews. Users without reviews, or with negative reviews, will be declined.

Please treat our home like you are friends and family; we use it ourselves and care for it with respect. Pets, fireworks, parties, and/or smoking indoors are strictly prohibited, and additional fees may apply for cleaning and/or damage. Please review the house manual and rules, and be sure to share that information with all adults in your party prior to your stay.

We do not accept pets. Please do not ask to bring your pets, not even little nice ones.
