The space
Hosted by HelmsBnB, this generously-sized, 5-bedroom historic home is designed with your comfort in mind. Each bedroom has been thoughtfully furnished to provide a cozy retreat, with ample storage space, plush bedding and decor that exudes quintessential New England charm.
Walk into the custom entry way and sunroom that was added in 2023 and the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or cozy up with a book. The living room has plenty of seating (including a queen sofa bed) and a smart TV to stream your favorite shows. The kitchen is fully stocked with new stainless steel appliances, with plenty of space to whip up meals and gather in the dining room around an elegant 8+ seat dining table with decorative fireplace. The main floor has a full bathroom with rain shower head and its own mini split for custom temperature control. Step outside into the backyard with large patio with twinkling string lights, dining table for 10+, gas grill, seating and outdoor games, including corn hole and bocce ball!
The first three bedrooms are located on the second floor - you can use the main staircase with exquisite wood detail or the “secret” second stairs in the back of the house (kids love it!). All three bedrooms have queen beds, mini splits for individual temperature control and dressers/closets to store everything you packed. Additionally, there is a second full bathroom with tub and gorgeous custom tile.
The second two bedrooms are located on the third floor and each have a queen bed, dresser and mini split for individual temperature control.
First floor:

Guest access
You will have full access to the home with the exception of two storage closets.
Other things to note
Our driveway can accommodate 2-3 cars and there is additional free street parking.
We are dog friendly and there is a $125 dog fee, per dog (2 dogs max). This does not cover any damage or yard clean up and all dogs must be house trained. If you are bringing your pup along, we must know at the time of booking and prior to your arrival. Please note that we do not allow cats due to guest allergies.
We are a 10-15 minute drive to the heart of Boston (depending on traffic, of course)
If you don't feel like going into the city, there are a lot of options in Medford and Somerville that we can share with you!
-There is an amazing park and playground a 3 minute walk from our home
-The best Italian cafe and several restaurants are all within minutes
-Station Landing is a 10 minute walk
-Assembly Row is just over a mile with shopping, entertainment, and restaurant options!
Public transportation:
There is a bus a 1 minute walk from our home that comes every hour and takes you to Wellington station. We are 4 stops from North Station (TD Garden, the North End, etc.).
We have exterior only security cameras for the safety of both our guests and property. These cameras are actively recording both audio and video outside all entrances and side doors. Any tampering with cameras, including, but not limited to covering and otherwise disabling of these cameras are grounds for early termination of reservation with no refunds whatsoever.
Absolutely no smoking inside or near open exterior doors - there is a $250 fee if this is violated.
