"Boss Beech" is a modern 1-bed, 1-bath suite-style space with countless amenities included dedicated off-street parking. As one of the only short-term rentals located in the heart of the "Square Mile", it's only 6 blocks from Yager Stadium, Millett Hall & Miami University and 3 blocks from Uptown. Its location makes it the perfect abode for a weekend of reminiscing with friends, visiting children or attending sporting or festival events the town offers throughout the year.
The space
The 270sqft unit was designed and renovated in 2025 as an enhanced short-term rental by an '04 Miami alum with a career in tourism. (Enhanced layout of a short-term rental with the inclusions of a fully-stocked long-term property.)
There is a full size kitchen with amenities like an air fryer, coffee maker, espresso machine, Soda Stream, Instant Pot, Foreman grill, blender and cabinet of oils & spices.
The full bathroom including towels (including make-up specific ones), toiletries (shampoo & body wash) and appliances like a hair dryer & iron/ironing board.
The living room includes a raised bar top for dining or working, as well as a couch in front of the 50" TV with many complimentary apps, a cabinet of games & puzzles, a wifi-enabled printer, a washer/dryer combo unit (detergent, fabric softener & bleach provided) and AC/heater.
The bedroom includes a queen size bed, nightstands (housing a fan, heated blanket and heater for colder months), a dresser, TV with apps and an AC unit during warmer months. An additional queen blow-up mattress and bedding is available as well.
There is a small back patio with chair and a firepit in the yard (shared with the tenants in the other unit) however this unit includes a dedicated off-street parking in the driveway (30’ x 9’) in the front.
Guest access
Guests have unrestricted access to the entire unit and it's amenities during their stay.
The rear patio with chair is private (additional camping chairs located under the bed) but the back yard and firepit is a shared space.
The driveway (30’ x 9’) is a dedicated parking spot for this unit.
Other things to note
The City of Oxford charges a 3% Hotel Tax & 3% Convention tax on the short-term rentals which is collected on each booking and remitted quarterly to the city.
