The spacious Apartment Boas Vindas is situated in the center of Figueira in a calm neighborhood and invites you to relax or go explore the area, with nice cafes and restaurants or a stroll to the marina with amazing sunsets. It is great to enjoy a perfect holiday. There are plenty of options to eat as a local Portuguese would or let the day fade out. You can also enjoy the nightlife around the casino afterwards which is close enough for easy reach on foot.

The space
This very large apartment is situated in the city center, with parking nearby. The interior is a combination of modern and traditional furnished space that can accommodate 2 adults and baby (bed available) as well as 2 older children. All types of cooking utensils, including basic spices & oils for you to delve into some local Portuguese cooking (for fruit, veg and specialities go shop at the Mercado Engenheiro Silva), with a fridge, washing machine and dishwasher available for your convenience in this fully equipped kitchen, it will be as easy as cooking at home, if you are ever to lazy to enjoy the multiple food options in the neighborhood. You can also just cozy up in the living room space or relax in the hammock, after a day at the beach or sink into the comfy beds after a long night. The area surrounding the apartment is very quiet and residential. This apartment has great heating and is also perfect for an off season stay.

Festa da São João (Also known as the Festival of Sardines) is celebrated around the end of June to the beginning of July. Very busy (and fun) time to visit.
Also fun is the Figueira Smash Fest which is one of the biggest beach volleyball events in Portugal that takes place at the beginning of August.

Go to dine local food at amazing value just down the road at Tasca da Lúcia or with style at the Praça 18 a little further down. Best Pizza in town is also located right around the corner owned and managed by Genovese Claudio. Breakfast is commonly enjoyed at Cafe Brazil right opposite Tasca da Lúcia, with typical Portuguese Natas and Meia de Leite. In the other direction (east of apartment) you have A Grega and Restaurante Claridade for a differing evening meal on another occasion and a little classier down the road at Caverna da Praça. Treat yourself to some of the best Ice Cream in Europe at the Geladaria Emanha 1 by the beach just a 10 min. walk away. There is a lot of activities as well as festivals in Figueira to look out for.
