Important Community Access Information
Blue Canoe is located inside a gated HOA community with strict access policies.
* Only guests and vehicles listed on the approved registration form will be permitted to enter the community.
* Our rental permit allows a maximum of 10 people on the property at any time. This includes overnight guests and any day visitors.
* If friends or family plan to visit during your stay, they must be included on the registration form and count toward the 10-person maximum.
* Guests who are not listed on the registration form will be denied entry at the gate.
* Please return the completed registration form at least 4 days before your arrival to avoid the HOA’s $75 late registration fee.
* If you will be driving a rental vehicle, simply write “Rental” in the vehicle information section.

Your safety is our top priority. Please be aware that surveillance cameras are strategically placed on our property to monitor and ensure guest safety. These cameras are not equipped with audio recording and are never placed in private areas such as bedrooms, bathrooms, or the hot tub space. Rest assured, real-time monitoring is not conducted; footage is only reviewed as needed for incident investigations or emergencies. We believe these measures contribute to a secure environment during your stay. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out for clarification.
Parking:
Limited parking is available on our property, with space for up to five cars in the driveway. To prevent property damage, please refrain from parking on lawns, dirt, or gravel areas. For guests with more than four cars, we recommend carpooling or utilizing nearby parking lots. The garage is reserved for storage purposes only.
Guests with Children:
Safety is paramount, especially for families with children. Supervision is advised for children using the hot tub due to elevated water temperatures. Additionally, adult supervision is crucial near the lake, and swimming or playing in the water should be accompanied by safety measures such as life jackets. By booking our property, you acknowledge that usage of amenities is at your own risk, and The Blue Canoe is not liable for any accidents or injuries. Life jackets for individuals under 18 are provided for kayaking, paddleboarding, or swimming in the lake.
Important Reminders:
Violation of house rules may lead to the immediate removal of guests without a refund. Quiet hours are observed after 10 PM, and fireworks are strictly prohibited, with penalties of up to $2000. No parties or events are allowed. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas. Please use the cigarette containers to dispose of butts.
Wildlife shares our environment, and we ask guests to avoid leaving food out and disturbing them.
Pet Policy:
We understand pets are part of the family and welcome them with a $150 pet fee per stay. We provide doggie waste bags. Please clean up after your pet, dispose of waste properly, and report any pet-related damage promptly. Your cooperation in maintaining a clean and well-kept property is appreciated.
