This super "suite" beach retreat is just 3 short blocks to the beach and super walkable to great dining, nightlife, ice cream, bike rentals, shopping, & activities.

The space
Gorgeous renovated studio apartment has king size bed, Roku TV and remodeled kitchen with full-size stainless appliances: range, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave with quartz countertops. Dishes, pots, and pans included if you'd like to cook as well as full laundry.

Enjoy a private screened-in front porch for dining or lounging after the beach or socialize on the common entertainment patio. Sensational backyard patio & deck has full entertainment amenities: 47” outdoor TV, bar, dining and lounge furniture plus grill & outdoor shower - everything you need to relax after the beach & exploring the island.

The home is a duplex but the sides are completely separate. The other side of the home is a 2br, 1 ba updated just like this unit.
It is also on AirBnb under the name Breezy Banana. The whole home would be perfect for a family or friends because they are completely separate living quarters but do share the private enclosed back yard.

Tybee Island is 3 miles of flat roads perfect for walking or biking thru charming neighborhood streets - no needing a vehicle after you arrive!

Perfectly situated 3 blocks from the main beach pier loaded with shops, restaurants & bars and 3 blocks from the back river ~ perfect for watching sunsets and moonlight strolls. Enjoy the best of both worlds of being close-by to all the fun and restaurants while having a peaceful retreat to come home to!

Guest access
You have full access to the backyard while you're visiting, as do the guests on the other side of the home. The backyard is the only "shared" common space.
Again, the driveways/houses/front porches are private and completely separate and face different directions!

Other things to note
-We have this home regularly cleaned by a toxic-free cleaning business that is small and local to the island!

-We love pets and they are more than welcome to join you!

-I (Emily) am also the local volunteer mom for the Bambino babysitting app. We have tons of great sitters who babysit for our family on Tybee that I can gladly recommend to you. I help everyone on Tybee and Savannah get matched with sitters that will fit their family and I'd love to help you while you're visiting!

-Fortunately we have had wonderful guests return year after year so we have a successful AirBnb history. Over the years we have expanded and are happy to share these other Banana Properties in addition to the Blue Banana:

Neighborhood highlights

Our home is the bright teal one story house on a corner lot with easy access in any direction. The unit's entrance is facing Jones Ave.

Tybee is small island - just 3 miles long of quirky, tropical beach living. The roads are all very flat and are perfect for walking, running, and biking. The neighborhood is very quiet and friendly but you are only a few short blocks from the pier and restaurants, bars, shops, ice cream, groceries, etc.

Tybee is an "open container" town so you if you sit on the front porch in the evening you will often see locals walking down the road with a glass of wine or beer on their way to watch the sunset.

My husband Jesse and I own a home on Tybee Island and wanted to share this quirky island with others. We enjoy the nature of Tybee - we're big runners and walkers. We love good craft beer, reading, sports, music and food. We love to travel as much as possible and want to help others do the same.
