Stay in Benezette and see the elk. Located right in town, this charming 1500 sq ft 1880s home offers 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen and dining room.

Take a 1 mile stroll around the town to visit local shops and keep your eyes out for those elk!

Whether you are staying to hunt and fish or simply take advantage of the amazing outdoor activities, the Benezette House is ready to accommodate.

The space
Th is 1500 sq ft home features 4 bedrooms. The home is located right in town, along Route 555 nad within walking distance to the town's businesses and park. Elk may be seen wandering through the yard at any given time. Be sure to bring your camera!

Benezette House is not only for large groups. We are happy to host couples looking for a weekend getaway to Elk Country.

The spacious first floor features two large living rooms, kitchen, dining room, sunroom and SMALL full bathroom with stand-up shower.

The second floor features the four bedrooms and 1 SMALL full bathroom with shower/bathtub.

The outdoor area has a fire pit with 4 camping chairs located in the living room closet. We also have a propane grill for outdoor grilling available Spring - Fall.

*Benezette is an older town. Every home in town has well water. Our water does have sulfur smell which is very common for homes with well water. If this is something you are not accustom to, you may bring your own water for drinking and cooking with.

**If brining children under 2, we are unable to lock the door to the basement, but it does latch. We are working to provide cabinet locks as cleaning supplies are available below the sinks in the kitchen and bathrooms.

Other things to note
Guests can expect some noise from traffic off Route 555.

Guests can expect a sulfur smell from our water. This is common for well water.

It is not uncommon for large storms to cause power outages in Benezette. We are a small town located away from the hustle/bustle of cities. Everything in our home is ran by electric (including water and internet). We do NOT have a generator. Please check the weather forecast. If spending time unplugged for 4-6 hours is not something you can tolerate, Benezette may not be the get away for you.

Benezette is a small town about 20 minute from any major groceries stores. Please buy your groceries before coming to stay. We recommend bringing your favorite items with you. For a back-up, the Benezette Store does have limited groceries for anything you forget.

Hi! I'm a wife and mom to 3 boys. And while my boys most definitely keep me busy, my husband and I decided to buy my great-great grandfathers home in Benezette. The house is in a great central location and we are just excited to share our home with anyone looking to visit the area and see the Elk. We look forward to hosting you.
