Beech Tree House, in St Martin village is within walking to the pub. Many beaches, coves & walks nearby. We designed/built our home and are ready to share it. 4 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms it's the perfect combo. The sitting room, dining & kitchen space is open plan, with entertainment room, utility and WC just off. The master bed is light and spacious & boasts country & distant sea views plus ensuite wet room. Bedrooms 3 & 4 share the family bathroom and bedroom 2 also has an ensuite shower room.

The space
With uninterrupted, beautiful views across open countryside to the sea in the far distance, this luxury home near the Helford in Cornwall is stylishly welcoming. Beech Tree House is ideally located to explore the fabulous beaches and coves of the south and west Cornish coasts with the added bonus of being within walking distance to the local pub and within a 5 minute drive in either direction to two other great village pubs. Dine alfresco on the garden furniture, and as we're south west facing you can enjoy the sun until it disappears. If you'd rather sit inside to dine you can still benefit from the fresh country air by peeling back the bifold doors to gaze across the fields. The kitchen is designed to encourage all you Nigella or Gordon wannabes, with all Neff appliances - Double ovens, microwave, coffee machine, BBQ griddle, 5 ring hob and American style fridge freezer, oh and of course the all important dishwasher! As we have young children who often want their own space and viewing preference... you'll find an entertainment room just off the sitting room which is home to a 46" 3D TV, Xbox, Nintendo Wii and lots of board games, puzzles and DVDs. The garden is perfect for children to enjoy and also a space for your four legged friend. Private parking for up to 3 cars. Happy to offer a reduction in price for parties of 4 or less (during off peak weeks), please get in touch.

Guests have access to all rooms except the basement which will remain locked.

Other things to note
All though children and babies are welcome, you will need to provide your own linen for the travel cot provided (for under 2's). We also provide a high chair, kiddies cutlery and table wear. As our staircase is bespoke and wider than average, we are unable to secure stair gates. Bedroom 3 is perfect for children with it's fun cabin bed (more suited to children age 3+) although it is a full size single so perfectly comfortable for a willing adult! The master bedroom is galleried to the downstairs so best to put little ones to sleep in one of the other bedrooms so they're not disturbed. For those bringing an EV we ask that you leave a contribution towards the electricity please.

Neighborhood highlights

St Martin is a lovely little village with a great park for children to enjoy, it's recently been upgraded with a zip wire, climbing wall etc. The entrance to Tremayne Quay is just half a mile from the house, owned by the national trust it is a beautiful walk through woodland where you end up at the river. There is a pub within walking distance of the house and another two great pubs within 5 mins drive of the house which both offer great food and atmosphere.

Hello! I'm Jeni and partner is Scott. We're excited to welcome some lovely visitors to our home. We've worked hard to make our home a relaxing space with all the creature comforts to make your stay perfect! I've spent the spring and early summer pottering in the garden so if you like fresh herbs you'll be able to help yourselves... the perfect partner to some fresh local seafood or meat which are available very nearby (I'm a total foodie so please ask for recommendations for the best places to buy produce). You must try at least one Gear Farm pasty and an ice cream or two from Gwella Dairy (both in the village) while you're stay. Being a self confessed foodie you'll hopefully enjoy your welcome hamper too.
