The home sits directly on a beautiful coral beach surrounded by tropical gardens and has no immediate neighbours, giving you privacy and space to truly unwind. Step from your deck onto the sand, enjoy a morning swim, relax in a hammock or watch turtles and colourful reef fish from the shoreline. Dugongs are regular visitors to the bay.

🏝️ Tiffin Service (KaiKai)
For those who don't want to cook, locals offer a tiffin service where local mummas cook local food and we deliver. Some local food is chicken and rice, lap lap, simbiro, tuluk or beef with rice, fruits, passion fruit and vanilla, fresh lime or lemon depends on what they cook that day.

Experience Traditional Aore Island Life. Walk through a local village and discover how families live traditionally growing food, living from the land and maintaining a lifestyle with minimal reliance on electricity, running water or money.
🏝️ Tuesdays: Visit ancient Nambanga (Banyan) trees they are huge 60 people round hundreds of years old.
🏝️ Wednesdays: Cook Simboro a traditional dish with the mummas🏝️ Thursday: Traditional weaving, make a basket, a matt and island broom.
🏝️ Friday: Tour our working Chocolate(cocoa), Vanilla and Coffee plantation

⛴️ Before You Book
Aore Island is reached by boat to get to and from Santo a boat is required. Weather can be windy between August and October making seas rough however raincoats and skilled drivers are assured.
The home is in Northern Vanuatu a 45 minute flight from Port Vila which operate 7 times a week.

There are direct flights from Brisbane every Tuesday or Thursday

Hello, we look forward to you staying with us at Phoenix Plantation, a 170 acre property that goes from Sea to Hilltop jungle on Aore Island . We farm, Cocoa, Coffee Vanilla and Pepper.
