Barn Cottage is a cosy one-bedroom barn conversion on the edge of the ancient village of Birchover, surrounded by beautiful countryside and endless walking and hiking routes.

The cottage comprises of a living/dining room, fully equipped kitchen, bedroom with double bed, and shower room. Outside the property there is a small patio area with a table and chairs and a storage shed for bicycles. There is a designated parking space around 30 metres away from the cottage.

Birchover is an ancient village dating back to the Doomsday Book. It is filled with history and sits among moorlands close to the town of Matlock.

There's plenty to explore, including the nearby Rowtor Rocks, a system of interlinked caverns and tunnels on the outskirts of the village, and the Nine Ladies stone circle on Stanton Moor.

Please be aware that there is a step to enter the cottage, and the bedroom and shower room are upstairs, so unfortunately it is not accessible for those with limited mobility.
