About the Space
Welcome to our treehouse, designed to immerse you in fresh breezes, palm trees and the incredible canopy surrounding a 400-year-old Baobab. The house is fully open to the natural surroundings, giving you a unique connection to the environment. Depending on the season, mosquitoes may be present, and we provide mosquito nets and coils to ensure your comfort.
The Treehouse
It is built around a 400-year-old baobab and is completely free-standing — no part of the structure touches or damages the tree. It was the first of the two baobab treehouses on the property and is often called the Big Treehouse. The two treehouses share a pool area, all surrounded by lush greenery and canopy wildlife.
Kitchenette
Fully equipped for simple cooking: a full-size fridge and freezer, stovetop, utensils, cutlery, cookware and a coffee/tea station. (Please note: there is no oven.)
Living Area
Enjoy a smart TV with Netflix and YouTube (and the ability to log into your own apps), a dedicated workspace overlooking the treetops, high-speed fibre WiFi, comfortable seating and reading material.
Bedroom
A king-size bed with a comfortable mattress, cotton linen and a mosquito net ensures a restful night. The room includes a wardrobe and a lockable cabinet for your valuables.
Bathroom
Hot water, towels, shower amenities and a hairdryer are provided.
Balcony
The balcony features a dining table and a cosy lounging corner — perfect for morning coffee or a sunset drink while watching monkeys play in the treetops. PLEASE dont feed the monkeys!!!
Pool
The shared pool area includes a bathroom with shower, sun loungers and shaded seating. Relax with a drink from the honesty bar and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Guest access
The entire tree house is yours to enjoy. Relax on the balcony, sunbathe by the pool, cook up a fresh seafood meal or just lie on the sofa and watch some movies. The place is yours to enjoy and relax!
The pool area is open between 8 am to 8 pm. There's an honesty bar with some drinks available. Just sign your name and pay at the end of your stay.
Super easy check-in! You will be greeted by the main gate and taken to your accommodation by one of our lovely staff members.
Check-in time is from 14:00. Always welcome to drop off your luggage beforehand and we of course always try to have the house ready as early as possible.
Other things to note
The tree house is located about a 10-minute walk to the beach. There are supermarkets, pharmacies, ATMs and restaurants nearby. There is an info booklet in the house with all the information you might need. This includes restaurant recommendations, things to do, transport etc. We can help you with most things. Our goal is to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
We do have 3 species of monkeys on the property. Kindly do not feed them or leave food unattended as this may result in the monkeys getting in and taking your food. We all know monkeys can be very cheeky so please keep that in mind.
Our tree houses are open-air by design, allowing you to fully enjoy the sights, sounds, and fresh air of the surrounding nature. As part of this unique experience, you may occasionally encounter mosquitoes or other insects, especially around dawn and dusk. We provide mosquito nets and take regular measures to help keep our spaces comfortable, but being immersed in nature means that some wildlife is simply part of the experience.
