Palermo is beautiful and Albergheria is really the best place to truly experience and visit it. From there, everything can be reached on foot, and in its suggestive views and alleys, there is a truly timeless atmosphere! The Albergheria is the ideal starting point to visit Palermo. On foot you can visit: the Cathedral, Palazzo dei Normanni, the Palatine Chapel and much more. In the same street there is the famous Ballarò market typical of Palermo tradition.

The space
Large apartment on 2 levels with private terrace, two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, living room and kitchen,

On the first floor there is a living room with a double sofa bed, a kitchen, a bathroom with a shower and bidet, a split air conditioner, and a 42" smart TV.

The upper floor is accessed via a comfortable and sturdy staircase, and as you go up you will immediately notice the roofs with wooden attic beams. In some places the roof is very low (it starts at 3 meters and descends to 50 cm).

There are two bedrooms, one with a door and split air conditioner and 32" smart TV. The second room is an open space. There is a bathroom with shower on the floor.

The apartment is equipped with class A air conditioners (1 on the lower floor, 1 on the upper floor) and an 80-liter hot water boiler.

You have two bathrooms available, but keep in mind that if you use the showers at the same time, you may have a loss of hot water in one of the two, especially the one on the upper floor, as the pipe is longer. The boiler will provide you with hot water for about 3 consecutive showers. The waiting time for filling (after using all 80 liters) is about half an hour. Sicily is the victim of a major water crisis, which is why we invite you to use water sparingly.

We hope our guests feel at home and try to give them all the information they need to enjoy their stay to the fullest. Those who choose our house when they arrive do not have to bring anything: they will find the house clean, the beds ready, 3 towels per guest, and a bottle of water in the fridge.

Guest access
The house is in the heart of the historic center, within walking distance of the city's main attractions. There is free street parking throughout the street and area. The ZTL is present in some sections, but we will give you the necessary information privately to avoid them.

Other things to note
In the apartment, we do NOT leave any kitchen items such as salt, pepper, sugar, or personal care products such as shampoo or shower gel, or household cleaning items.

On Saturday and Sunday mornings, the barter market takes place right on the street where the apartment is located. For this reason, on those days, we DO NOT RECOMMEND leaving the cars parked under the house.

In Palermo, the separate collection of waste is active. At your check-in, you will be given a calendar with instructions on how to do it best.

A tip I can give you is not to stop at the impression of decadence that the city can give, with its buildings not all renovated, with its wounds of the last war still a bit present, with its narrow streets and with clothes lying on the balconies, the noise.Palermo is a beautiful city, true, and, importantly, multi-ethnic and multicultural, like its history. Shopping is done on the street by negotiating with the sellers and in any case there are always supermarkets where you can meet all your needs. On Saturdays and Sundays there is often the flea market right in the same street where the apartment is located, an ancient tradition although a bit noisy.
The apartment is located inside the ztl, but we will explain how to get there a few steps from there without entering the ztl.
