Badgers Rest is a charming 18x8 foot shepherd's hut on the outskirts of Tintagel in Cornwall and offers a peaceful location with coastal walks from the front door to Boscastle & Port Isaac including Trebarwith Strand, Nectans Glen & Rocky Valley. The property is down a long track away from the main road above two bungalows situated at the end of the track. The hut is private and not overlooked.

The space
With a wood-fired hot tub and a beautifully manicured garden, the hut is ideal for a couple, keen walkers or the solo traveller.

The hut is a studio-style with a double bed that folds away to give you a dining table to eat at while you plan your itinerary. There is a kitchenette with sink, a small fridge, combi microwave oven and a double hob.

There's also a sitting area in front of a toasty hobbit wood burning stove and a kettle and toaster for your morning tea and toast.

Outside, the garden provides a wonderful space to unwind, with the wood fired hot tub and recliner seats for resting and the dining seating on the decking area with distant sea views for an alternative eating arrangement.

Badgers Rest is a pleasant property for a quiet break.

Fuel, power and a starter pack of logs, kindling, fire lighters & matches for woodburning stove and hot tub is included. Additional logs are available to buy at the locally. Please note the oven is a combi oven.
The property is down a narrow lane so parking will require a car with a small turning circle.

Venture to Camelford for the day and experience its rich history and stunning natural beauty here, you'll find attractions like Davidstow Airfield and the Cornwall at War Museum, as well as beautiful parks like Enfield Park.

Wadebridge isn't far, a thriving seaside town with plenty to offer visitors; the attractions here are Pencarrow House and Garden, St Breock Downs Monolith and the glorious Cornish coastline.

There are some superb sights to see nearby, from the St Nectans Glen Waterfalls to the stunning Trebarwith Beach; you'll rarely be bored here!

The surrounding area is dominated by the sea, rocky coves and stunning scenery.

Several beaches, including nearby Trebarwith Strand and Bossiney Cove, are within easy reach and surfing is the main attraction for those who love the water.

Tintagel has several pubs and restaurants and the Old Post Office (National Trust) is a must.

For the energetic, the SW Coast Path passes through the village and in both directions it winds its way along the cliffs and down to the water’s edge through dramatic countryside.

Head north along the path and in 2.5 miles is the beautiful village of Boscastle with its quaint quay and village pubs for refreshment.

Further afield are the surfing meccas of Newquay and Bude, with their resort attractions, while the open spaces of Bodmin Moor, the Eden Project, Padstow and the Camel Estuary are all within a 40-minute drive.
