The space

All we ask is that you follow these three simple checkout steps:
Remove bedding and towels and place them in the bathroom laundry basket
Wash and put away all dishes and silverware
Place all trash in the kitchen garbage can
🚫 VERY IMPORTANT — DO NOT FEED THE HORSES NEXT DOOR
You’re welcome to admire them from the Sky Deck, but do not reach over the fence and absolutely do not feed them. Thank you!

Your guest house is 800+ sq. ft. with tall ceilings. Many visitors say it feels even larger than the photos.

(Please no cooking inside the kitchen — it is not equipped for indoor cooking. Please use the BBQ.)

🛏 Bedding & Cleanliness
Cleanliness is extremely important to us. We triple-stock all bedding (comforters/sheets), and everything is laundered after EVERY guest stay.
Bedroom mattress is a Full size, not a Queen.
Upon request only:
We can provide bedding, 2 towels, and 2 pillows washed exclusively in non-fragrance Tide.
Please request this at least 3 days before arrival.
All other bedding is washed in bleach and Tide
After every other guest, we use our Atomizer sanitizing machine, which sanitizes the entire home.
We do not use plug-in air fresheners — we simply keep a clean and well-sanitized space.

Cleanliness:
Yes — we bleach the kitchen and bathroom, then disinfect and wipe down all remotes, door handles, and much more after every stay. This is the level of cleanliness we expect when we travel, and we provide the same for our guests.
We hope this gives you a good idea of how important cleanliness is to us!

Refrigerator is not full-size, but larger than a standard mini-fridge
Security:
Home security cameras are outside only, located on the main house and shop area.
🚫 Absolutely No Animals in the Guest House
We cannot allow any animals inside the guest house under any circumstances. A family member who stays here often is severely allergic, and exposure would be extremely dangerous for him. Thank you for understanding and respecting this rule.
Guest access
Your space extends from the parking area up to the Guest House. However, we really hope you’ll enjoy a peaceful morning walk down our street, Wagon Trail — it’s beautiful!
Going for a walk?
Use the walk-through gate located to the left, next to the white fence. Lift the horseshoe handle at the bottom to open it, and please be sure to secure the gate behind you.
Along your walk, you may spot our family of deer, plenty of quail, and the big jackrabbits. If you’re lucky, you might even see the famous roadrunners!
We can also accommodate trucks with trailers, and even semi-trucks. We sit on a few acres, so pulling in and out is easy

NO Cleaning Fee — YOU are saving money!
When checking out, please leave the space as you found it.
Of course, we will thoroughly clean and sanitize the house once you leave.
Enjoy the peacefulness and the wildlife — that’s what this home is meant for.

🚫 NO PETS
As you know, we have a strict no-pet policy. A family member who stays at the guest house often is extremely allergic, so we cannot allow any animals inside the Guest House.
(We love our 4-legged kiddos too — but this rule is non-negotiable.)
🚫 NO HIKING BEHIND THE GUEST HOUSE
Hiking anywhere behind the guest house or on our property is strictly prohibited.
The area is unsafe due to rattlesnakes, uneven terrain, and tripping hazards.
If you’d like to hike, you may do so down the street, 200 ft up on Wagon Trail, at your own risk.
🚶 Going for a Walk or Jog?
To exit the property on foot, use the walk-through (“human”) gate on the left next to the white fence.
Lift the horseshoe latch at the bottom, step through, and please be sure to close the gate behind you.
