Tucked in the heart of the Olympic Mountain Village of Wilmington, enjoy this Adirondack retreat at a fraction of the cost of Lake Placid. Swimming, fishing, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking and more availalbe right out the front doorstep. Lake Placid is only 15 mins down scenic Route 86 where you can enjoy all the restaurants and shopping it has to offer. Wilmington Public Beach at Lake Everest is only a block away, perfect for family picnics and a playground for children.

The space
Upon entering, you'll be on the main level of the townhouse with the 2 master suites with king and queen size beds with full en suite bathrooms, and 1 children’s bedroom with bunk beds. There is another full bathroom with washer/dryer on this level.


The lower level features the Bunk Room with 2 single beds and 1 twin bed. For entertainment, there is a full-size ping pong table and a cozy TV nook in the corner of the room.


The top level is where you'll relax, with beamed ceilings over two separate living rooms, one with a TV and sliding glass door which opens onto a wrap-around balcony perfect for morning coffee or evening BBQs, enjoyed in comfortable Adirondack chairs. A Weber grill is located on the balcony for your grilling pleasure! The open plan kitchen, dining area and living room with a gas fireplace with river stone surround is perfect for gathering with your friends or family.

My wife and I fell in love with the Adirondack Mountains the very first time we visited the area. Our love for trail running, mountain biking, skiing and fly fishing is brought to life when we stay at our home at AuSable Run. We currently live in Nairobi, Kenya with our two daughters but get back to the Adirondacks as often as we can. When we're not there, we want others to experience all Wilmington has to offer.
