Very beautiful area and so close to whiteface mountain. Everything was clean and ready for our arrival. Would stay here again

Our stay was perfect in every way. From the thoughtful treats left for our kids, to the heated bathroom floor, and in- unit laundry, everything was more than we expected. Being under the bookstore was lovely and we visited frequently. Sarah and Marc were incredibly accommodating and responsive to all of our needs. We will definitely be back! :)

The location is perfect with easy access to the Ausable river with brown trout fishing within 100 yards. Meg was friendly and responsive and made sure everything was smooth. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful Adirondack getaway!

My wife and I loved our weeklong stay here. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay, with a full kitchen, 2 beds, a propane grill, and a comfortable living room. It's right in the middle of some of the best places in the Adirondacks but quiet enough that you feel secluded. We loved being able to hear the Ausable River roar right behind the apartment. The whole town lost power from a storm on our last night, and the hosts were sure to check on us to make sure we had what we needed - we really appreciated that. Looking forward to our next stay!

Betsy is a super host! Let us know about the local area, places to eat and visit, where we can go stargazing which honestly is a must if you come to stay here! She is flexible and accommodating, just communicate with her and she will respond. The airbnb was clean, private, and very cozy! The local area is great with beautiful surroundings. Can't wait to come back to get some more hikes under our belts.

This lakeside gem was the setting for one of the most restful and beautiful stays we’ve ever had with Airbnb. I loved sitting every morning on their porch to take in the first bit of morning light, and every suggestion made by our host was better than the last. I’ve visited Vermont several times, but I was blown away by all of the hidden treasure suggested by our host - everything from thrift shops to the best cafes. My two kids had a blast here as well. I would highly recommend for couples, families, or friend groups looking to have fun together.

Jo was an incredibly thoughtful and welcoming host. Check-in was seamless, and we were greeted with a basket of goodies and a handwritten note, which made us feel so at home. The house was cozy, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed—including a fully equipped kitchen and extra towels and slippers for the hot tub, which we loved using. The kids enjoyed having their own rooms upstairs, and the big windows provided stunning views. The location was great, just 20 minutes from town. Overall, it was a relaxing and much-needed getaway—thank you, Jo!

not sure where to start it was all so fantastic ! just great 👍 first just the best lake views ever & such a comfy bed & super cozy bedding making for such a peaceful sleep & total relaxation all around ! I just love that it’s got its own beach area right outside and you can also walk to town too - I had a great meal in town and it was so easy to walk there & back Also the host was so easy to communicate with and check in could not have been any easier all around a total yes!!!! perfect!

We have been guests of Lindsay’s for 3 years. We usually stay at one of her other properties but this time there was a group of us and we stayed in the cabin. Everything was great! Location was secluded on lakefront property and there was about 6-8 “ of snow which was an added bonus. Close to everything and would highly recommend to anyone. Great time had by my entire group

William's property is so beautiful. The view of the lake is breathtaking from sunrise to sunset. We enjoyed every meal on the screened in porch surrounded by the beatiful water. The home is so cozy and feels homey yet luxurious. It had eveything we needed. The access to the water from the dock was one of our favorite parts. A lot of wonderful memories were made by the water... swimming, kayaking, watching turtles and fish. It was such a relaxing and peaceful vacation spot and we hope to be able to stay again in the future. We also enjoyed the historical aspect of the property and felt a connection when we visited Fort Ticonderoga, which was minutes away. Our family loved this vacation and this lovely and charming home! The house, location and hosts all exceeded our expectations. My family went skiing in Lake Placid over New Years and we stayed in Todd and Amy's house for a five day trip. The house is large, clean, comfortable for a large group and has a "cozy" feel to it. The hosts have spent a considerable amount of time (and money) adding little touches to the house that make guests feel at home. Other than your own food, the house has everything you need for a worry-free vacation. It has spectacular views and even full sized Ping Pong and Air Hockey tables. Saranac Lake is about 15 minutes from Lake Placid but it's very easy to get there. However, Saranac Lake has its own charm and we loved walking around the lake and exploring the town. Todd & Amy really care about their guests and couldn't have been more accommodating. Of course, everything was so good we really didn't need much. We would happily rent this house again.

We had an absolutely exquisite experience staying at Adirondack Chalet. It is one-of-a-kind place that offers numerous amenities and stunning views. The house was throughly cleaned and well-stocked before our arrival. The sauna and hot tub worked perfectly, which we enjoyed a lot during our stay. If you are planning to ski at Whiteface Mountain resort, it is literally five minute drive away. The hosts were incredibly friendly and approachable. Overall, we had a memorable vacation and would definitely come back.

Perfect place for our hiking get away. Close access to many high peaks. All of the necessary amenities. Clean and comfortable. Will be back.

Our experience of Philip's place was great. Easy to get to, get in, find the things we needed. Great amenities, shampoos, soaps, snacks, teas, coffee. Heat was on when we arrived, which made it feel that much more welcoming. Was perfect!

We had a great winter weekend getaway. Great private location on lake Champlain, yet close enough to go skiing or visit lake placid. Nice to come home and make a warm fire as the temps outside were below zero. Host Kayleigh was responsive to all our questions.

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend. It was close to Lake Placid, but far enough away from town to relax and enjoy nature. There was little shop about 2 minutes driving distance that had wine and liquor as well as coffee, snacks and food. It was great for those with gluten and dairy allergies. The place was clean and cozy and looked even better than the pictures. Lisa was very responsive. Would definitely return!

This place is a gem. It is a perfect mix of Airbnb and hotel, with it being a lodge in a secluded area, and is walking distance to the Main Street in Lake Placid. It has stunning views of the lake, it is extremely comfortable and beautiful, and overall a perfect weekend for my husband and I. Highlights were the sauna, the hot tub, the amazing surrounding area and proximity to Lake Placid!

Our family of five had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect. The view from the condo of the lake is beautiful. We loved being able to use the amenities at the High Peaks Resort. We walked each night into town for dinner. The living space is very comfortable and the bedrooms were also comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

It's a beautiful location with plenty of things to do in the area. You do get your money's worth. It's also close to many shopping amenities for those who prefer not to travel by car to buy groceries or medicine. Overall, a great experience!

We went to Lake Placid for 3 days skiing trip and highly recommend Angela's place! Cozy, convenient, great location, also has nice view! Will definitely come back next time!

Condo matches the pictures, but the view is far better than the pictures. Very comfortable space and open floor plan. Kitchen was well stocked, we cooked in a couple nights and had everything we needed to prep meals. Having three full bathrooms was great (we had 4 adults and two kids). Easy walk to the middle of town and all the restaurants/shops, but far enough away that it didn’t feel busy. Coffee on the balcony was an amazing way to start the day. We’ve been going to lake placid for 20+ years and have stayed many places - this is one of the best views we’ve had while still being right in the village. Highly recommended.

Great, clean place with great views. Easy to get in and out of Lake Placid town. Quick drive to shops, restaurants, Olympic sites.

We had a great stay and the location was peaceful and quiet. Access to both lake Placid and mirror lake was easy with paddle boards. It was an easy walk to town as well. The condo was spacious with more than enough space for our group of 7. The kitchen cabinets and appliances as well as bathrooms are dated but all in perfect working order. We would definitely book with Diane in the future.

A REAL GEM OF LAKE PLACID!! We had a wonderful family Christmas vacation at The Duffys. The home is beautifully decorated, meticulously clean and well equipped with everything and family would need . The beds were comfy with quality linens. The Duffy's were very responsive with any simple questions or needs. They were incredibly accommodating of one of our family members task trained service dog and very respectful of the ADA . It's often difficult to find informed and inclusive accommodations with service dogs so we are very greatful for the Duffys understanding and support. It was simply the most stress free vacaction I've had in along time(I travel alot). The Duffys make their home your home away from home ...truly. Thank you Shaun and Hannah. Merry Christmas
