Extremely convenient location. Host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. As someone who owns an airbnb turnover service, the residence was in top shape!

Our stay was perfect in every way. From the thoughtful treats left for our kids, to the heated bathroom floor, and in- unit laundry, everything was more than we expected. Being under the bookstore was lovely and we visited frequently. Sarah and Marc were incredibly accommodating and responsive to all of our needs. We will definitely be back! :)

The location is perfect with easy access to the Ausable river with brown trout fishing within 100 yards. Meg was friendly and responsive and made sure everything was smooth. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful Adirondack getaway!

Staying at LeeAnne’s place was like staying with family. The space was very comfortable and spacious, with lots of room for my partner and I to spread out. The front screened in porch with the views of the valley and Ausable River were a perfect place to have our morning coffee. But the place was extra special because of LeeAnne herself. She was probably the most gracious and accommodating Airbnb host I’ve ever encountered in my many years of using the platform. LeeAnne was extremely flexible and accommodating with our needs and provided us with whatever household items we asked for to make our stay more comfortable, including a window air conditioning unit she put in our bedroom on one particular warm summer evening. Her hospitality and warmth reminded me of my childhood stays with loved aunts and cousins. If you’re looking for a peaceful place for some rest and relaxation, this is it!

My wife and I loved our weeklong stay here. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay, with a full kitchen, 2 beds, a propane grill, and a comfortable living room. It's right in the middle of some of the best places in the Adirondacks but quiet enough that you feel secluded. We loved being able to hear the Ausable River roar right behind the apartment. The whole town lost power from a storm on our last night, and the hosts were sure to check on us to make sure we had what we needed - we really appreciated that. Looking forward to our next stay!

Betsy is a super host! Let us know about the local area, places to eat and visit, where we can go stargazing which honestly is a must if you come to stay here! She is flexible and accommodating, just communicate with her and she will respond. The airbnb was clean, private, and very cozy! The local area is great with beautiful surroundings. Can't wait to come back to get some more hikes under our belts.

This lakeside gem was the setting for one of the most restful and beautiful stays we’ve ever had with Airbnb. I loved sitting every morning on their porch to take in the first bit of morning light, and every suggestion made by our host was better than the last. I’ve visited Vermont several times, but I was blown away by all of the hidden treasure suggested by our host - everything from thrift shops to the best cafes. My two kids had a blast here as well. I would highly recommend for couples, families, or friend groups looking to have fun together.

William's property is so beautiful. The view of the lake is breathtaking from sunrise to sunset. We enjoyed every meal on the screened in porch surrounded by the beatiful water. The home is so cozy and feels homey yet luxurious. It had eveything we needed. The access to the water from the dock was one of our favorite parts. A lot of wonderful memories were made by the water... swimming, kayaking, watching turtles and fish. It was such a relaxing and peaceful vacation spot and we hope to be able to stay again in the future. We also enjoyed the historical aspect of the property and felt a connection when we visited Fort Ticonderoga, which was minutes away. Our family loved this vacation and this lovely and charming home! Thank you!

Beautiful home set next to the lake. The home had everything needed, spacious yet cozy & comfortable. The location is walkable distance to downtown village with nice restaurant options.

I will definitely be back and will be sure to recommend this spot to anyone traveling to that area. Amazing views, peaceful atmosphere and the hosts gave ample recommendations so we had plenty of options to plan our time.

We had a fantastic stay at Kelly's lake house. The house was newly renovated and clean. The kitchen had all the essentials to make it easy to cook meals. We especially enjoyed eating our farm fresh eggs from Nadeau's Farmers Market outside on the deck to start the day. Kelly gave specific directions to find the house. The place to cross the railroad tracks can be hard to locate in the dark. Paddling on the lake was a highlight. It was great to launch right from the property. Kelly's place is located 30-40 minutes away from some cute towns to shop or grab a yummy meal. We were able to visit Essex-NY, Middlebury-VT, and Vergennes-VT. We would gladly stay here again.

First of all, the place was very comfy right off the bat. The location is tucked away far enough from the road to provide some peace and quiet during the stay. The only drawback was being on the bottom floor, you will be bound to hearing all activity of the floor above you. Unfortunately that meant some sleep was sacrificed due to the upstairs neighbors. Other than that, everything was there that was needed for a comfy stay in the mountains. The bathroom and shower exceeded my expectations as well as the amount of places to rest. Tammy was a wonderful and receptive host and I plan to visit again someday soon!

Our experience of Philip's place was great. Easy to get to, get in, find the things we needed. Great amenities, shampoos, soaps, snacks, teas, coffee. Heat was on when we arrived, which made it feel that much more welcoming. Was perfect!

The babble of the falls trickling down the wooded hillside behing the master bedroom; the morning chill coming off the Ausable across the lane in front of the porch; the chest-puffing clouds parading down off the High Peaks just to the west and south; and streaming across the deep blue sky; the smell of fallen leaves and morning sprinkles of rain--- together they create an environment no architect could design and no carpenter could build. Lisa's Cascade Cottage is as good place as anyone could imagine simply to enjoy a few days of uncluttered, peaceful, and personal restoration.

This place is a gem. It is a perfect mix of Airbnb and hotel, with it being a lodge in a secluded area, and is walking distance to the Main Street in Lake Placid. It has stunning views of the lake, it is extremely comfortable and beautiful, and overall a perfect weekend for my husband and I. Highlights were the sauna, the hot tub, the amazing surrounding area and proximity to Lake Placid!

Our family of five had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect. The view from the condo of the lake is beautiful. We loved being able to use the amenities at the High Peaks Resort. We walked each night into town for dinner. The living space is very comfortable and the bedrooms were also comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

It's a beautiful location with plenty of things to do in the area. You do get your money's worth. It's also close to many shopping amenities for those who prefer not to travel by car to buy groceries or medicine. Overall, a great experience!

This condo was great for a weekend getaway for 2. We were very comfortable and loved having the fireplace. Great location as well.

Condo matches the pictures, but the view is far better than the pictures. Very comfortable space and open floor plan. Kitchen was well stocked, we cooked in a couple nights and had everything we needed to prep meals. Having three full bathrooms was great (we had 4 adults and two kids). Easy walk to the middle of town and all the restaurants/shops, but far enough away that it didn’t feel busy. Coffee on the balcony was an amazing way to start the day. We’ve been going to lake placid for 20+ years and have stayed many places - this is one of the best views we’ve had while still being right in the village. Highly recommended.

The place was very clean and very accommodating and comfortable. We felt right at home and safe. The king bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

We had a great stay and the location was peaceful and quiet. Access to both lake Placid and mirror lake was easy with paddle boards. It was an easy walk to town as well. The condo was spacious with more than enough space for our group of 7. The kitchen cabinets and appliances as well as bathrooms are dated but all in perfect working order. We would definitely book with Diane in the future.

Great area right on the lake and very close to many attractions!
