A 1905 farmhouse with modern touches, Arthur's Vineyard is a cozy 3-bed, 2-bath home in walking distance of Greenport village's beaches, marina, restaurants and boutiques.

An open plan living area, breezy decor and a large landscaped backyard for spending relaxed summer days and nights with your family and friends, including the 4-legged ones. Walk to the train station/jitney or take a short drive to the wineries & farm stands of the North Fork.

Recent updates: central heat/AC & new bathrooms.

The space
Thoughtfully furnished and decorated, our home features a primary bedroom on the ground/1st floor, with sliding doors to the outdoor area. There is a bathroom with tub also on the ground/1st floor. Two further bedrooms are situated on the 2nd floor, alongside a second bathroom with shower cubicle.

With doors from the kitchen leading to the inviting backyard, the house is bathed in sunlight all day long. There is a modern and well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast counter, and an open plan living and dining room with wood-burning fireplace and a desk for working-from-anywhere.

Practically, there is a storage basement complete with new energy-efficient laundry facilities. New central air conditioning was installed in January 2022 and is operated by a Nest thermostat. There is keyless entry making it easy for all guests to come and go, without needing keys!

Guest access
Guests will have full run of the house and garden throughout their stay. There is parking on the driveway for 1-2 cars and street parking is widely available (with no restrictions) outside the property. It is an easy 10-minute walk into the village and it’s many cafes, restaurants and shops, as well as the train station and town beach, making it easy to visit with or without your own transportation. The house has keyless entry for convenience.

Other things to note
Our home, Arthur's Vineyard, is a special place to us and we hope, as our guests, you will treat it with the same care you would treat your own home!

The house is best suited for a single family or small groups of friends. There are three beds in total. Two bedrooms have queen beds and the third has a full-size. There is a travel crib "pack & play", booster seat and stair gates available for guests with small children, upon request.

This is a dog friendly house - but well behaved pups only, please! Keep them off the furniture and please clean up after them in the yard. Food & water bowls (and treats!) provided.

Neighborhood highlights

Greenport is one of the oldest fishing villages on the East Coast and a quaint seaside town with plenty of activities. Fantastic restaurants and bars continue to open each season. There are secluded and quiet bayside beaches, and Long Island Sound beaches just a few minutes away, and Shelter Island is just a 5 minute ferry ride. A short drive will take you to the many vineyards and wineries that the area is known for, and the roadside farm stands selling great local seasonal veggies (and homemade pies!). While a little quieter in the winter months, and with some places closed until Spring, there is still plenty to do & see year-round.
