Escape to Arabella Hideaway, a peaceful and private retreat nestled amongst native New Zealand bush in the beautiful Bay of Islands.
Designed for two adults, this fully self-contained apartment is the perfect place to slow down, relax and enjoy the natural beauty surrounding you. From the comfort of your own private spa pool, take in stunning views across the Bay of Islands towards the historic village of Russell. As the day fades, sit back in the warm water and enjoy the tranquillity of your surroundings.
The apartment is tucked away from the hustle and bustle, offering a wonderful sense of privacy while still being close to everything the Bay of Islands has to offer.
When you're ready to explore, the village and local amenities are just a five-minute drive away, with restaurants, cafés and shops to discover. You can also choose from a fantastic range of activities and tours, including boat trips, island cruises, fishing, dolphin encounters and exploring the many historic and scenic attractions of the region.
After a day of adventure, return to Arabella Hideaway, pour yourself a drink, slip into the spa and watch the changing light across the bay.
Arabella Hideaway is more than somewhere to stay — it's a place to relax, reconnect and enjoy the Bay of Islands at your own pace.

When you arrive at Arabella Hideaway your parking space is beside the deck access to your fully self contained unit. The lower deck area is all yours. This area features a hot tub, BBQ facilities and outdoor furniture so that you can make the most of your surroundings. Access to the unit is directly from the deck. You can even enjoy the views from the comfort your bed. The property faces true north across the bay so you can enjoy both stunning sunsets and spectacular dawn vistas as the native birds call to the sun and welcome the new day.
Other things to note
We truly love our little piece of paradise and are excited to share it with you.
We also share our space with two cats named Sheila and Meer. Sheila is very elderly and just likes to lay about in the sun sleeping. She does like people and though we do our best to keep her away from our guests she may turn up to offer you a friendly greeting. Meer is a typical scaredy cat. You will probably never be aware of her existence. please do let us know if you have any concerns about our furry friends.
