Comfy bed for better sleep

The room-darkening shades and extra bedding are loved by guests.
Relax and unwind at this peaceful guest house nestled in Apple Hill in the lower Sierra foothills. Enjoy a modern country kitchen, a luxurious soaking tub, and serene forest views. Ideally located near Sierra at Tahoe, you’re just minutes from skiing, hiking, wineries, apple orchards, scenic lakes, rivers, and historic downtown Placerville. Perfect for outdoor adventure, wine tasting, or a quiet mountain escape.

The space
The house is nestled away in the woods. The large living room and open concept kitchen has large picture windows looking out into the beautiful landscape. There is a TV with a Roku for streaming with a comfy couch and easy chair. The kitchen has a dishwasher, large sink, refrigerator, induction stove, coffee maker with a reusable filter, and a toaster oven. The dining table has seating for four. The large bedroom has a California king size bed with luxurious bedding. The bathroom has a rain shower and soaker tub for ultimate relaxation. Also, be sure to use the built in Bluetooth speaker in the ceiling to play spa music while you’re unwinding in the tub. Washer and dryer are also in the unit.

Guest access
Guests have access to the whole guest house and surrounding yard.

Other things to note
The path to access the house is a wood chip path with some stone steps. Plenty of parking on the large driveway. Look for the star that leads to the front door.

Our kitchen is stocked with a selection of essential cooking spices, though availability may vary based on guest usage. We do our best to replenish items regularly, but we understand that everyone has unique preferences, so we always recommend bringing any specific spices or ingredients you may want during your stay.

Coffee is not included; however, a wonderful local option — Casita Café, located just 2 miles down the road — is a great spot to grab a fresh cup.
