The space
A compact, minimalist loft designed for quiet remote work or creative focus. Fast Wi-Fi, an Aeron chair, and a calm residential setting make it ideal for writing, coding, or long online sessions.
Sleeping: a 150×210 cm double bed—comfortable for one, cozy for two.
The space features raw concrete walls and a glass bathroom, giving it a clean, modern aesthetic. In winter, some condensation may occur due to the concrete structure; simply running the bathroom ventilation fan will resolve it.
There is no traditional closet, but the room includes storage space for up to four large suitcases, a hanging bar, and ten wall hooks to keep belongings organized.
For work or entertainment, the room includes a 55-inch display (compatible with phone tethering) and a BOSE smart speaker with Alexa.
Location: the loft sits in a quiet residential pocket just off the main road, within easy walking distance of Ebisu and Hiroo.
Access:
11 minutes to Ebisu Station (East Exit)
8 minutes to Hiroo Station
Note: Apple Maps sometimes suggests an unnecessarily long route. Google Maps provides the correct path.
Despite the quiet location, the area is extremely walkable, with numerous restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, and convenience stores nearby. The neighborhood is home to many Japanese startups and remote workers—discreet, creative, and focused.

About the concrete interior:
This room features exposed concrete walls. Guests with sensitivities or allergies to cement-based materials may wish to consider wooden buildings, or reinforced concrete buildings with finished interior walls (such as drywall or wallpaper).
Construction across the street (important): a new apartment building is currently under construction across the street. Work is generally scheduled on weekdays between approximately 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. During active work periods, intermittent daytime construction noise may occasionally be audible indoors.
Noise measurements (indoors, measured on March 22, 2026, at 9:53AM during the current excavation phase):
Minimum: 29.2 dB
Average: 32.9dB
Maximum: 35.8 dB
For reference, under normal indoor conditions, the room typically stays around 29–35 dB.
Noise levels may vary depending on the day’s construction activity. If you work night shifts, sleep during the day, or are particularly sensitive to noise, this listing may not be the best fit while construction is ongoing. We will continue to monitor the situation and update this listing if there are any significant changes.
Guest access
Guests have access to the stairs and hallway from the entrance to the room.
Other things to note
Check-in is available any time after 4 PM, with 24/7 access to the building. Both the main entrance and your room door lock automatically, so please save your passcode or keep it accessible on your phone to avoid getting locked out.
Within a 2-minute walk, you’ll find supermarkets, convenience stores, a 100-yen shop, and a coin laundry. The loft is in a quiet residential area—perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a day out.
While the neighborhood itself isn’t a tourist zone, nightlife is easily accessible. Ebisu Yokocho is just an 8-minute walk away, and you’ll find lots of fun, offbeat bars in Ebisu—great spots to meet interesting locals and fellow travelers. Roppongi’s evening scene is also just one train stop away.
🚭 Important: This property is located in a legally designated non-smoking zone. Smoking is strictly prohibited—not only inside the room, but also on balconies, near entrances, or anywhere around the building. This includes outdoor areas.
Unfortunately, we’ve experienced serious issues in the past, including neighbors reporting guests to the police for smoking near the entrance. As a result, this rule is enforced without exception.
We kindly ask all guests to confirm they’ve read and agreed to this policy before booking. Violations will result in a penalty fee and a formal report to Airbnb.
Laundry service is provided once a week free of charge for guests staying more than one week. Additional loads can be arranged for ¥2,000 each. There is also a coin laundry just 2 minutes away.
Please note: We use American-made fabric softeners for our linens and towels. If you are sensitive to these fragrances, we kindly ask you to refrain from booking.
Construction of a new apartment building is scheduled to begin across the street starting February 2.
Work is expected to take place on weekdays between approximately 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
While significant noise is not anticipated, some construction sounds may be audible during daytime hours.
For this reason, this listing may not be suitable for guests who work during nighttime hours due to time zone differences and rest during the day.
