I'm Lauren, your host at Airbnb Belfast, and this was my home for many years where I made many very happy memories! The location and potential of this place was too good to give away when I met my husband Paul, so together we made it into a little holiday home for couples and families to enjoy while city breaking in our fab city of Belfast!

I didn't realise until I started Airbnb that I was such a perfectionist! Any money we make from bookings is invested right back in so returning guests will notice some changes to flooring, furniture, garden deck, beds, decor all completed in 2022. A new shower & bathroom suite is in the plans for November 2023 (builders have pushed us back to Jan 2024). I'm always happy to take suggestions from guests on how to improve the apartment so please share your thoughts.

I didn't think we'd be so popular but with an awesome team helping us with cleaning and maintenance, Belfast being so in demand and keeping our costs lower that all of the competition, we have been pretty much back to back since restrictions lifted - so if you're booked with us thank you so very much for supporting this very small business of ours!

Basically, we'll always aim to get you started so that all you need to supply is your own food and drink on arrival and gather any other preferences as you need. The closest store is a 30 second walk door to door.

Blow up mattress and travel cot is available on request.

You'll find a welcome pack with essential goodies, information and recommendations on arrival. This includes a house manual that will explain where everything is and how it all works.

Guests have access to one free parking space, located at the front door of the apartment allowing for ease of access with no stairs. There is one standard step into the apartment.

Access to the apartment upon booking is self-check in, all details Inc photos, directions, and personalised key codes are pushed to you via the Airbnb application in time for 3pm check-in (please see the 'TRIPS' section for this if you do not have notifications switched on).

A Ring doorbell is located at the front entrance of the property.

📝 WHAT'S INCLUDED

The entire space is yours along with a private decked garden space to the rear. Living, dining, kitchen areas, 2 double bedrooms, bathroom, south facing garden.

As most of our guests are on a city break with limited luggage space, we'd like to highlight the essentials provided at the apartment - towels x4, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, x3 toilet roll, tea/coffee, washing machine and dishwasher tablets. If you're flying in you'll only need your own personal toiletries such as toothpaste and deodorant etc and grab your food/drink essentials as needed from the local store just 30 secs around the corner.

🚘 PARKING

One private parking space is available to you to the front of the apartment, directly facing the living room window. Electric charging is not available at the property*

*The closest EV charger is located in a car park just 30 seconds drive from the apartment - Howard Street, BT7 1BA. We advise that you download the Zap Map application on your phone to help locate nearby chargers - we use it personally and it's very accurate.

◾Yes, towels are provided; one per guest, a bath mat + hand towel in bathroom

◾A blow up mattress is stored in the wardrobe in the front bedroom, you can set this up in the living room if you have extra guests beyond the two bedrooms. A pump and bedding are provided.

◾No, the fire on the wall is not real! For health and safety reasons, it does not provide heat, it's decor only. Heating is controlled by clock in the rear hall, please use as you need. If you are drying clothes please open a window to ventilate the room and avoid dampness.

◾If early drop off for luggage isn't available, a local storage facility is nearby, called Stasher. Belfast city centre post code is BT1 5GS - this will show you the closest unit. Many guests have used this service and it comes recommended.

◾The apartment is all one level, very accessible with only one standard step into the property

◾Check in details will be automatically pushed to your app 24 hours before arrival - please look for them under the 'Trips' section. We can't send them separately for security reasons.

The Dublin Road runs off the top of Bedford Street and is the beginning of the city's famous Golden Mile and main throughfare when departing Belfast city centre in the direction of Shaftesbury Square, Queens University and Botanic Gardens.
