Charming Mid-Century Home in the Heart of Casper
Experience the best of Casper in this freshly remodeled home, blending stylish mid-century charm with modern comfort. Walking distance to the Wyoming Medical Center and several parks, this cozy retreat is just 1 mile from downtown, restaurants and shops.
Whether you're here for business or leisure, this is the perfect place to immerse yourself in everything Casper has to offer.
Note: We allow one pet for a fee. No smoking allowed indoors.
The space
We have 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. There are three bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. The kitchen, a small dining area, and living room are on the main floor. The downstairs basement has an additional sleeping area/bedroom, along with a newly remodeled and modern bathroom and laundry room, and access to the garage. The couches in the living room can convert into full-size beds, if needed.
You have access to a 50” Fire TV in the living room, that you can using to connect and watch your streaming services (or connect your own device using the HDMI ports). There is free WiFi throughout the house.
There is a collapsible desk/workspace available downstairs..
We remodeled the downstairs bathroom in late 2023. There is only room for a small/compact car in the garage (16 ft or less).
Recently installed central air conditioner for the whole house to stay comfortably cool in the summer months.
Guest access
You have full access to the entire house and outdoor space during your stay.
Other things to note
Please note that this is an older home from the 50’s. While we have remodeled and updated wiring in some rooms, most rooms have outlets that are not grounded (two prongs only). If you need grounded outlets, they do exist in the bathrooms and kitchen.
Also, the outlets in the basement (downstairs bedroom) are tied to the light switch (must be on for the TV and outlets to work). There is a remote for the light to adjust brightness and turn it on/off while still leaving the main light switch on.
The neighborhood is relatively quiet, however we are close to the hospital so you will hear occasional sirens and helicopters. Some neighbors have dogs and we can’t control when/if they are let out and bark (which sometimes happens). You may also hear occasional sounds from trains as they pass town (the tracks are over a mile away, but some trains are loud).
Recently installed central air conditioner for the whole house to stay comfortably cool in the summer months, and fans available for the rest of the house. The basement stays pretty cool in the summer.
This is a no smoking or vaping house. We do allow one pet (dog/cat) for a nightly fee, if added to the reservation.
