Thursday nights they close down Hwy 111 in Palm Springs to host a street dining night. Restaurants have booths set up all down the street.

There is also a outside bizarre/swap meet at the desert college which is a two min drive out the back gate. It runs 7-2:00 Saturday and Sunday.
