Not an ordinary lake home! Nestled in a quiet cove of Lake Jimmerson, this home has 100 feet of deck, 2 balconies, a dock, arcade, and a sauna. As of Dec 2023, large 6-person hot tub on the deck is exclusive to this home. Paddle boards and kayaks are INCLUDED. A short boat ride takes you to the heart of the lake action on Jimmerson/James.
The space
This is a perfect vacation home for your entire family, a multi-family gathering, or an office or troop retreat. The home is perfect for holiday celebrations too! It's at a great location in a popular lake area in Northern Indiana (Lake Jimmerson/James). Located right off of I-80/90, I-69, and between Chicago, Ohio, and Michigan. It is a 5-minute drive to Pokagon State Park for great hiking trails, beach access, horse-back riding, and a nature preserve. In the winter, the Park features the longest Tobaggun Run in the midwest, cross country skiing and snowshoe rentals when there is snow! The home is fully decorated for the holiday season from November to January.
When you enter this 3700 sq foot home, you will first see the beautiful great room with floor to ceiling lake views.
THE MAIN FLOOR -
GREAT ROOM: The entry features a fireplace, pool table/ping pong table, large living room, dining room, and kitchen all in one large open space.
ARCADE: Also on the main floor is an arcade with basketball, fusebol, and air hockey. There are shelves with board games and children's books and toys appropriate for 10 and under.
BATHROOMS: Two full bathrooms are on the main floor. Both have showers stocked with salon-grade body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.
BAR: A wet bar with a dedicated wine fridge and bar utensils is also on the main floor. A complimentary bottle of wine is provided for every two adults staying at the home.
KITCHEN: Spacious kitchen with island seating has: 2 ovens, an electric and Jen-Air Stove on the island, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, pots/pans/baking sheets, and table settings for 15. We do have a high chair and toddler eating utensils upon request. Complimentary coffee, cream, and sugar is stocked in the kitchen.
DINING TABLE: Open to the kitchen is an 8 person dining table with extra seating at the kitchen island and living room.
PIANO: Yes, we have an upright piano for those who enjoy entertaining or just love playing! (Everyone in our familly plays piano, so we had to have one at the lake!)
THE SECOND FLOOR:
In the center of the main floor are wide stairs leading up to the sauna, another full bathroom, and 3 bedrooms that overlook the great room.
SAUNA: There is a hallway to a large 2 level sauna, available year round. A small shower, toilet, and sink are next to it for a quick rinse off before or after use.
MASTER BEDROOM: Very spacious. The room has a King bed with a memory foam mattress, SmartTV, balcony overlooking the lake, a futon that opens to a full bed, and a dedicated work space for those that need to work while away. A large closet with a pack n' play, extra pillows and blankets is also in the room.
BEDROOM 2: The room has a King size bed with a memory foam mattress, a futon that opens to a full size bed, and a balcony overlooking the lake. A dresser, a closet stocked with pillows and blankets, and a Smart TV are also in the room.
BEDROOM 3: Perfect for the kids, but also spacious enough for an entire family. This room has 2 bunk beds. Each bunk bed is a Twin XL over a Queen bed. The room comfortably sleeps six. If you have six or less people staying at this home, we do close off this room to reduce the amount of bedding our cleaners have to clean. Please message us if you have any questions about this.
BATHROOM: This is a full bathroom that is attached to the master bedroom and has a door to the hallway. This bathroom can be shared by everyone on the second floor. It has a double sink, shower, and toilet. All bathrooms are stocked with bath towels, hand towels, hair dryers, and salon-grade body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Bath towels are in all the bedrooms.
OUTDOORS -
Back on the main floor, you will also find double doors that open directly onto the large deck. The hot tub for six is right outside these doors. On the deck is also plenty of seating for lounging, and chairs and tables for eating. A gas firepit is also on the deck available for you to use when relaxing on the lounge seating. There are steps from the deck going down to the main pier where you can dock your boat or use the paddle boards and kayaks.
We provide life jackets located inside the home, and plenty of beach towels.

Guest access
You will have your own parking spaces on the driveway (space for 4 cars), full access to the entire 3700 sq foot home, and the deck with the hot tub and pier.
Other things to note
The property does also have 2 smaller cottages that have their own entrances, parking spaces, deck area, and a separate pier. As of December 2023, the hot tub is exclusive to guests of this home and cannot be used by cottage renters. The home can accommodate additional guests, but must be requested ahead of time. Extra mattresses, roller beds can be placed in bedrooms if bedding is available.
