The space
This is a single-story 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom townhome in Houston's Arts District (state-designated, home to 300+ artist studios, galleries, and creative venues including Sawyer Yards). The home has vaulted ceilings, an open-concept layout, and original artwork throughout.

Make yourself at home. You have full access to the entire house during your stay, except for the loft, which we use for storage (we've installed a ladder guard on the access ladder for safety).

The front door uses a smart lock. We'll send you a detailed check-in instructions message 48 hours before your arrival with your unique entry code and everything you need to know about the house. Self check-in, no in-person meeting needed.

Other things to note
A freight line runs at the end of our street. The house has triple-pane soundproof windows that block most of the noise. There's a white noise machine in each bedroom and earplugs for extra-light sleepers.

You can park in the gated driveway. The driveway is 11 feet wide by 32 feet deep, which fits full-size pickups (you may need to fold your mirrors). For larger trucks or SUVs: fold mirrors, back straight in, and exit on the house side for more door space. Free street parking is also available in front of the house.

We have exterior cameras facing the street and driveway for security and to monitor the property's condition. There are no cameras inside the home, and no person or service watches them in real time. Recordings are stored securely, never shared with anyone, and automatically deleted after 10 days if there are no incidents.
