Neighborhood highlights

The Martha's Vineyard Camp Meeting Association is a national historic landmark established in 1835. Located in the heart of Oak Bluffs, the MVCMA oversees the area commonly known as The Campground - a diverse and vibrant community that celebrates its historic and religious roots, dating back to the early 1800s. There are over 300 cottages within the campground.

The Tabernacle, located centrally in the campground, exists as a “Beacon to All” and serves as a religious and cultural center for the residents of the Campground, Oak Bluffs and the Island itself. It is the largest venue on the Vineyard and, with its marvelous acoustics and beautiful setting, local groups, musical groups, individual performers, theater groups, choruses and even the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra find enthusiastic audiences. The MVCMA offers a wide variety of cultural and religious programs throughout the summer season (July and August).

Hi! I’m a married mom of three - two girls (ages 10 and 7) and a boy (age 4). I was born in the Midwest, raised in New England and have spent the past 15+ years in New York. I also host a seasonal rental on Martha’s Vineyard (MA) so am well acquainted with both sides of the guest/hosting table!
