Charming New England Farmhouse built in 1810 on Historic Chestnut st, one block from Laite Beach. Within walking distance of shops, restaurants, parks, library and harbor.

The home sits on half an acre, featuring perennial gardens with woods and open space adjacent. The yard has hidden areas to recline in the sun or shade and enjoy a good book or listen to the birds.

You will feel relaxed and away from the hustle and bustle of town, while being only a 10 minute walk to the action!

The space
The master bedroom and recently renovated en-suite bathroom, to include a steam shower, are on the first floor at the back of the house with views of the garden. There are 2 additional bedrooms upstairs which have ocean views and share a bathroom. There is also an office upstairs which can be used as an additional bedroom.

The kitchen has received a recent renovation including the addition of a large, bright walk in pantry and distant ocean views. The house is fully stocked with everything you need to move in and start enjoying your Camden vacation.

Downstairs is open plan with a few spots to tuck yourself away with a good book.

The front porch is a highlight of this property. From here you can watch the sun come up and the world go by as you sip your morning coffee. Although I hesitate to call it an ocean view, you can see the ocean in the distance as it’s only one block away!

Neighborhood highlights

Chestnut st is one of the most beautiful streets in Camden and is popular with locals and visitors for long walks and admiring the various homes and gardens along the way. Aldemere farm is a short walk away where you can watch the Belted Galloway cows as they graze beside the ocean. Laite beach is a lovely public beach with big tidal swings that reveals lots of shells and rock pools when it retreats and only one street away.

You cannot beat the location as far as proximity to attractions whilst having a feeling of peace and tranquility when in the back garden.
