Jack's cabin at Redstone is the perfect getaway if you want a peaceful private place to work or play close to Redstone, Colorado. The listing doesn't do the lodging justice. It is better than the description and was exactly what we needed for a luxury getaway place in the mountains. Jack was an excellent host, prompt at responses and understood our different schedule and was flexible with us during check in and check out. If you are looking for the best value for your money in a beautiful mountain setting this is the place to book. This is a one in a million find as far as short term rental properties is concerned.

Best vacation experience we’ve ever had! Dave was so responsive and generous, and we fell in love with the area. Everything was incredibly well taken care of, clean, and cozy- perfect for any time of the year. Those views are impossible to beat, and we can’t wait to come back!

5 stars! This sweet log cabin was everything we hoped for and more. The attention to detail was amazing, and we loved the charm of the little town. Walking to the general store was such a cozy experience. And the food by Gina was out of this world—no menus needed, just a skillet full of goodness that we couldn't get enough of. We can't wait to return! Margaret was a doll so responsive and we felt like she just opened up her heart and home to us.

Wonderful rustic stay! Matthew and Leah were both very accommodating. There was both a wood and gas burning fire place, so heat was quick while building fire in wood burning stove. Had everything necessary for a cozy stay. The beds were especially comfortable, almost too comfy… as we fell back asleep and slept in well past required check out time. Matthew and Leah were still very very nice and made sure we enjoyed our of stay over everything.

We enjoyed a few days in Aspen and really enjoyed our room. Walking to downtown was easy and the location was great for all the activities we had planned during the day. The continental breakfast was an absolute treat! Our room was as described and the lodge was quiet. Thank you!

Aspen Hollow was one of our favorite places we’ve stayed! This cozy cabin(s) surpassed our expectations and was the perfect family-friendly spot for our two families. The hosts (Autumn and Rob) were always responsive with anything we needed during our stay and had gone above and beyond for us. Truly a hidden gem and we cannot wait to come back and stay here again. My colleague and I stayed at John‘s place for three nights. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. John’s place was very comfortable and super clean. He literally thought of everything. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything that you could possibly think of. The living room with the wood-burning fireplace was super comfortable and very homelike. We loved the board games and especially the hot tub, John mentioned the stars were amazing from the hot tub and boy was he right!! The cabin is a short ten minute drive to Crested Butte where you all find a grocery store, restaurants, and shops. We will definitely return to the cabin the next time we visit.

This beauty and comfortable real log cabin set in the aspen and spruce trees with a fully covered front and back porch is so inviting! The feel of sitting in the living room area with a fire going looking out the large picture window makes you want to relax and let go of the world off the mountain. My husband I love this area and property. First, for its beauty. Second, for its remoteness, but still close to hiking, exploring, great restaurants, four wheel riding or snowmobiling. It’s all accessible right out the door. The cabin is well stocked for all your needs. The rich smell of the trees and crisp air with wildlife coming right in the yard makes it even more special. The owner is easy to communicate with and provides a cabin with so much more than a bed to sleep. It’s an experience! Thank you to you and your family for sharing the cabin. Our stay was perfect! The cabin is really nice and cozy and I loved all the windows. It was clean, has everything you would need and more from cookware & spices, ample space with lots of movies and games to choose from. The outdoor area was wonderful, with a fire pit and astonishing sweeping views of the gorgeous mountains. Brian was very responsive and clear on instructions. 10/10 would definitely recommend!!

Stop scrolling and searching! If you’re looking for a place that’s private and cozy with amazing views.. you’ve found it! From the moment we turned onto the road I knew we wouldn’t want to leave. The home is nestled perfectly within a seemingly endless aspen forest. We enjoyed fishing the ponds nearby, the trail through the woods and making friends with the wildlife each day. Nights were spent around the fire pit and taking pictures of the Milky Way and stars. The home was well stocked with everything we needed for making meals, beds and furniture were comfy and there were plenty board games and dvds to choose from. Every small detail was thought of. Autumn was so personable and attentive, much more than a host and more like a friend I had known for years. The best airbnbs are the ones hardest to leave because they’ve become home.. and Autumns place was just that. Hands down, one of the best airbnbs we’ve ever had!

Jennifers cabin was absolutely amazing. My best friend and I had such a great time there. Definitely need 4 wheel drive and to be able to manuver in the snow, but totally worth it! The community of people were great and we will definitely be back!

Perfect location for our families annual mountain getaway and fishing trip! Situated right on the river with beautiful views from the great patio and lovely yard, we very much felt at home. Close driving distance to town and up to Taylor reservoir. Host was very responsive and we will recommend this home in the future!

We loved our stay. The creek right outside the door is a great feature. We also love the common area in the house for visiting after a day of trail riding. A very inviting and comfortable place to stay! We would like to stay again.

Jessica and Walter have done a wonderful job preserving this beautiful, cozy historic miners cabin and we loved every minute of our stay there! It was a very peaceful and relaxing getaway with beauty all around! The wood-burning stove/fireplace was my favorite feature-what a treat! My wife and I decided to take a trip into Aspen for a long weekend in the cabin. It was magical. We will definitely return for another visit. Absolutely stunning. The host was great. Our transaction were seamless and I felt that I was in good hands.

This was one of the nicest stays I’ve ever had. I was at Dan’s cabin for 4.5 weeks, and it was just heavenly. I arrived when the Aspen were just budding and got to see them fully bloom. The cabin was fantastic. It was just my cat and me, so we had more than enough space. The bed was incredibly comfortable (I was grateful for that since I was staying so long). The bathrooms were great and the kitchen was SO well-equipped. My favorite part was all the windows. They were all huge and open—no coverings—so it felt like you were part of the outside with beautiful sights to see. The location was perfect for me—easy to do a number of day trips, but fantastic to come back to with privacy and serenity. Dan was always super-responsive! He had to come one night to move a huge Aspen tree from blocking the driveway to the cabin. He was always on call for questions. I feel so fortunate that Dan allowed me to stay. I hope to again next summer. It was the nicest time I’ve had in a long time.

Very peaceful stay in a beautiful setting. Very well equipped house. The deck and porch are great for watching wildlife, enjoying a late afternoon summer shower or just enjoying the view. Forrest is very thick and full of wildlife. Walking down the old logging road off the back of the property was perfect. The roads are well maintained and very walkable for park like strolls thru the neighborhood. House is located far enough off the beaten path to be peaceful but still close enough to Montrose, Gunnison, Lake City, Blue Mesa Reservoir, Ridgeway Reservoir and places in between for endless activities. The house sits at an elevation which treats guests to nice cool summer mornings and mild afternoon temperatures.
