The outside wrap-around deck means you can find a sunny or shady spot as needed. For us, we were seeking sunny and out of the breeze. A great place to stay if you are wanting multiple trips to Ridgway State Park as it is a quick drive up the highway.

We felt right at home! Very cozy and comfy. Pictures and descriptions were spot on. Cindy always answered my questions and went above and beyond to offer suggestions for things to do. Beds were so comfortable and never ran out of hot water for showers. 😊 Roku on the living room TV. Games in the closet. Extra linens in the closet and PLENTY of towels in the bathrooms. They really have thought of everything! Thank you! We saw a beautiful fox the first night.

The condo is a 5 minute walk from the base. It’s got great views. The furniture is due for an update in some cases but it was overall very comfortable.

Dan was an excellent host - very kind and attentive when we had questions. He showed a vested interest in making sure we had a nice time and we did! Home is so cozy and the surrounding areas as stunning. Would definitely return as a go-to when in Carbondale!

The fam and I spent a wonderful spring break ski week here and loved it. Condo is beautiful and the perfect size for the three of us. Super clean and well-maintained. Ski lifts are less than 10 minutes walk and that includes a stop at the ski valet downstairs. Pool, hot tub and fitness center are all right there, too. Had a few questions for the host during our stay and answers came in minutes. We will definitely be booking this property again in the summer!

Our stay at John's home was fantastic. Our family enjoyed all of the amenities--the hot tub, sled hill, games, etc. Everyone agreed that the space was lovely, open, spacious, and perfect for future family events. We want to visit in the summer to get another perspective on the property. One catch is that when we made the initial reservation, I didn't get a reply to two of my questions. But this is a small hiccup and was easily overlooked. So happy with our visit--this home is worth a visit (or more!).

This condo was beautiful! Super close to snow mass& can take an easy free bus ride to the mountain & to downtown aspen. JD was an awesome host— so responsive and kind. An overall great spot in aspen/ snowmass!

We had such a relaxing retreat from our busy schedules at this house. We stayed 5 nights, and didn’t want to leave. The time went by so fast. The residence is so private and quiet. It reminded me of visiting my grandma’s house in Florida, only with gigantic mountains. The geothermal heat of the earth keeps the pool, clear water fish ponds, natural hot tub, and house warm and cozy. We went in the pool when it was snowing, and weren’t at all cold. The wildlife here was a treat. Bright blue jays and deer visiting the yard most of the time. The house was decorated in vintage trinkets that were fascinating. The nearby towns also had a vintage, wild west feel to them. The owners live 5 minutes away, and are very responsive. The appliances are all new, and work really well. We left so happy, and are grateful for the unique experience of visiting. We’re already making plans to go back as soon as we can.

What a wonderful and comfortable home. Plenty of space and very warm in the winter. Loved staying in an older home that the kids had plenty of space to spread out.

This is our third year staying at R Ranch and it was another amazing trip! We absolutely love staying here. Ruth is very responsive, friendly, and helpful. The house is fantastic! Awesome common space for a big group, plenty of room to spread out in bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen with a huge fridge/freezer, and a fenced in back yard for the pups! On top of all of that, truly breathtaking views in every direction. We will definitely be back again!

While this may not be a concern if you appreciate tranquility, those relying on services like DoorDash or Uber Eats might find it a bit challenging. However, if you enjoy cooking or are willing to drive for dining options, this location is truly perfect for your needs.

John was very helpful and always responsive. The house was great and we had a fantastic stay.

Merlot Moose was such a comfortable home for our family to enjoy our ski vacation. Very cozy and our adult children thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and just sitting in front of the fireplace or playing games! The kitchen was well stocked and it was so convenient to town… Just a mile away. Janis and Tyler were great hosts and very responsive to anything that we had questions on or if we needed anything. WIFI was great for those of us who had to work a bit from home! There was plenty of space for everybody to spread out and TVs in every room.

This is a fantastic house with a lot of character. It is very clean and modern. The location is on a hill where you can look over Paonia from the kitchen sink or out on the side deck. I felt very comfortable and safe—a very walkable location. One question I did have was answered quickly. I have a car close to the ground, an Acura TLX, and I was able to get up the hill easily without dragging. However, it would not have made it on snow or ice. Overall, I was very impressed and feel fortunate to have stayed here.

Perfection. Go ahead and book this place right now. It is absolutely stunning. After a day of skiing with our kids, we got to come back and unwind in the hot tub, looking over Sobris mountain and taking in the beautiful surroundings. The design and location of this home is amazing. You wake up with the most amazing view you'll ever find in any airbnb anywhere. I'll stay here again in a heartbeat.

This is a great semi secluded private place. A herd of deer came by every morning and hung out in the yard. At night the stars were beautiful to see as we enjoyed the hot tub. This is a great place to stay while visiting Buena Vista and enjoying the town, mountain hikes, and the surrounding hot springs. We definitely would enjoy staying there again. Thanks Sheldon!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The space was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The bed was super comfortable, and I appreciated all the thoughtful touches like fresh towels, coffee, and local recommendations. The location was perfect—close to everything, but still peaceful and quiet at night. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, making check-in and check-out a breeze. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Great proximity to the mountain! Great views to watch the next snow storm roll exciting everyone for the next day. Only thing to be aware of- while there are plenty of spots to sleep, please be aware there is room for 2 vehicles here. Overall a great experience and responsive hosts.

We had a wonderful stay in Leadville! This place was perfect for our family... cozy, comfortable, and so close to the main street fill with restaurants and shops.

This was an amazing spring break getaway for our family. Maybe our favorite family vacation so far. Everything, I would say, was even better than advertised. More beautiful views, cozy, comfy, well equipped kitchen, wonderful sheets, many nice touches! We would love to come back!

The house was very cozy with a big open door plan! We felt right at home and slept really well! We would highly recommend Daw’s house and hope to stay here again. Dawn was extremely accommodating for allowing our multiple dogs and suggesting a late check out time too!
