Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Guimaraes

Historic house maintained in very good taste. We were very well received and the communication with the host was great. Everything was very clean. Very comfortable and cozy house, nothing was missing, we felt at home! We miss the house and the environment that surrounds it. Thank you for everything!

Antonio was extremely responsive and generous with his time- picking me up at the station and dropping me off, and giving me a lift to the supermarket and to the river beach as I do not have a car and have reduced mobility. For others with mobility issues, I would say that it is quite steep there (which they warned me about) however I did find a couple of nice walks that were doable for me. The nature is exceptionally beautiful: mists rolling over the river, birds of prey gliding overhead, birdsong, the scent of orange blossom… I also enjoyed making a fire in the wood burner in the evening. This is a convenient place to come from Porto as it is just a few minutes’ drive from the train station which is on a scenic route 1.5 hours from the city. Thanks so much for having me!

Very cozy house, the interior super cozy and comfortable, with everything a house needs and very clean. The exterior has a very large area, a good view, and parking inside the property. There is also a jacuzzi in a reserved area. I want to leave a special highlight to hosts who have always been very friendly and helpful.

A very quiet, rustic and rural setting. Sooooooo peaceful. Fantastic place to escape the city, get some rest and reconnect with nature. The outdoor, wood-heated bath was great, although it did seem a little decadent for just one person. Ideal for a couple. There is a river and Diogo (who is very friendly and very helpful) said he has a canoe. Although it was still quite cool in the mornings (early April), there is a wood-burner and an AC unit that also heats. The driveway is do-able but more for adventurous drivers. The village (Macieira da Maia) is very authentic and it is only about 10-15 min to the beach. Vila do Conde has a beautiful old-town. Many great beaches along the coast. Braga is only about 40 min, Oporto, about 20-30 min by car.

I cannot recommend this place enough! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Renato was amazing — super friendly, responsive, and full of great local recommendations that made our trip even more special. Truly one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. If you’re coming to Porto, don’t hesitate — book this place!

Sandra is an excellent host. She is polite, friendly and very accessible. Regarding the house, it corresponded to the description and photos. Regarding the location and space that surrounds the house, we enjoyed it very much. The local is very beautiful, calm, and with an amazing view. Resuming, it's a nice place with a fantastic house to pass some days to lower our stress and enjoy the nature. So, we recommended it.

We stayed for more than a week at Manuela's place and had a great time. Manuela and her son Daniel were very welcoming from the check-in till then end of the stay (thanks for the delicious port wine!). The house is better than the pictures - cozy living room, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and lovely garden ... with a hot tub! Porto old city is 20mins drive, Aveiro is 40mins and Douro Valley is around 1.20mins from the place. There is a lovely restaurant by the river around 500mts away. Steep down and uphill walk but amazing views and very good traditional Portugese food. Good to have own transport (you can park inside or on the street) but there is a bus stop just few feet away from the house (we didn't use it as we had our own car). Overall a lovely stay. Large house, airy, clear, comfortable, well supplied and assorted with kitchen utensils, cleaning supplies and household appliances, all according to the listing and the photos. An amazing stay in this beautiful villa! The house is spacious, modern and impeccably clean. The pool is sublime, perfect for cooling off under the Portuguese sun. In addition, the tennis court was a great bonus, ideal for sports lovers. The garden is well maintained, adding a touch of tranquility. The location is also very convenient, perfect for exploring the surrounding area. I highly recommend this villa for a relaxing vacation, between relaxation and sports activities! I hope to be able to return soon.

The house was very lovely. Super clean and everything just like described. The view was beautiful. The city center is easy to reach by Uber. Clare was a lovely host. Very easy to reach and replied fast. She gave us a lot of great recommendations.

Great house, separated only by a small road from the beach. A wonderful roof terrace to relax and to look out to sea while the pilgrims from the Camino de Santiago walk past you. Great panoramic trail for jogging and long walks on the beach. We had a great time with our family. Thanks very much.

It was a super quiet stay. It is a perfect place to disconnect. Everything was perfect and very neat. The house is beautiful and is decorated just like the environment. Nature surrounds us. We found a hidden gem in the nature! Our stay was so comfortable, the BBQ was available, we could prepare great dinner there. Everything was perfect, jakuzzi, swimming pool. We could completely disconnect from all noise. A great location to recharge your battery. We want to come back.
