Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Guatapé

It's an excellent cabin, the hosts are super friendly and attentive people!! Felt like home literally, I hope to be back soon! I loved it

This is a pretty nice place. It does NOT have hot water. Not even slightly warm water. Don't plan on using that big bathtub that you see unless you want a cold plunge (without the sauna). The lack of hot water matches the amenities at the bottom of the list if you look down far enough. I guess I just assumed with that many showers and a huge tub that there would be hot water. Also, the beds are very hard. Don't plan on sleeping on your side. The owner was very nice and had quick communication. Overall, it is pretty nice. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. Pretty nice view. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb if you don't mind cold showers and if you prefer firm mattresses. We ended up renting a different Airbnb halfway through.

Accessible place, installation in good condition, very clean and organized. The place is located in a residential neighborhood so the theme of music and tone of voice should be very moderate.

Everything is super well, it is very well located since if they go by public transport it is super close to the Guatape park, and the place is super nice because it is a colloquial place and with a wonderful view of the dam, the attention with the incredible host. Guatape is an amazing place to get away from the everyday routine. Lots of things do near the house and the surrounding areas. We were a big group with adults and teenagers and were always comfortable and taken care of. We had enough space to be on our own as well as getting together to have fun and for our meals. We had Claudia who is a gem cooking and cleaning for us every day. She is very kind and gentle, lover her. And the amazing Fernando alway willing to help and give us suggestions. And of course we had Wilson in the evenings taking care of the house and standing guard. We also hired the chef a few times and it was great.

There really aren’t any words to describe how beautiful this place. Every single detail from functioning tiny windows to all the stained glass and decor is beyond beautiful! Mona is the sweetest dog that will let herself in and request belly rubs. We fed a squirrel while there. We felt in beautiful surroundings and in true peace. Rick was excellent to communicate with friendly and flexible. We wouldn’t doubt coming back.

If you’re thinking about coming to Guatape I would recommend doing this town first as it is closer to the airport than Medellín. Valery was an exceptional host and the place is in a perfect location. Valery also has information to a local driver and I felt very safe with them they also took me back to Medellín (don’t travel on Sunday night to Medellin so much traffic). I wish we would have stayed another night instead. I’m traveling with my parents and this was a highlight for them!!

Jaime is an increble host, the apartment was right in the heart of town. the apartment was clean, nice beds and had access to everything in the town if you would like to spend a couple of days sightseeing.

We really enjoyed our stay in Guatape and Luis' apartment was exactly what we expected. He was very responsive and flexible with our late check in. We would definitely stay there again.

We were changed to a bigger apartment, so my opinion is just for the few minutes we were on this one. Place is clean and according to the photos. Location is good, is not in town but a 10 minutes walk from it.

We really liked everything!!

We really enjoyed the place. It was spacious and had a nice view. It was a bit difficult to locate but the host stayed up late and waited for our arrival and we are grateful for that. It was just one block off the Main Street so quiet enough for sleeping but close enough to all the action in the cute town of Guatapé.

It really is just as Gladys describes it. Our stay was luxurious, comfortable and quiet. The area where it is located is great because you can sleep quietly at night, there is privacy and all the amenities at hand. It is very well equipped in the kitchen and the rest. Highly recommended.
