The apartment was wonderful. Larger than expected and extremely clean. Beautiful view and good location to explore Douro Valley.

We had a wonderful stay in Helga's apartment. The view over the Douro and the vineyards is exceptionally beautiful, the neighborhood in the village friendly, it is quite quiet there. Good shopping is available in the neighboring village, exploring the wine region is an experience. The communication with the host was straightforward, friendly and reliable. We would have liked to have stayed longer.

There is so much to say about this beautiful house. From the moment you enter you are hit by breathtaking views. The house was warm, cosy and had everything you needed to feel at home. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kids had so much to keep them entertained. I would highly recommend this property and we will definitely be booking again.

Beautiful home and amazing views! We had such a relaxing time staying here. It is a short drive down the hill to town where there are amazing restaurants and wineries to explore. We did need a car but for winery hopping so we hired a service which picked us up right at the house. It was so easy and allowed us to fully enjoy the entire valley! Sérgio and Sonia were so welcoming and the house had everything we needed. A highlight was staying in one night, cooking a nice dinner, and just enjoying the views right at the house. We would highly recommend!

We celebrated New Year’s Eve at Jose’s house. Our stay was wonderful! We asked Jose to have a tree and some decorations, and the house was decorated with the beautiful Christmas tree, candles and fresh green tree branches. There were a lot of kitchen supplies. Everything to cook and eat in a big company. Although it was cold in the kitchen, we used the fireplace. All the rooms are equipped with air conditioning. We also enjoyed eating tasty oranges and mandarins. In addition, Jose and Sergio greeted us with the table full of snacks and 2 bottles of their own wine. Great time in the peaceful location! We would like to come back in summer.

Soraya was a great host, she let us arrive late for check in, which allowed us to have dinner with some friends. The house corresponds to the photographs, as if we were in our grandparents' house! The heating was on for us to be comfortable as it was very cold at the end of December. I forgot to take a hairdryer and soon lent me one for the entire stay! The house is in a very quiet area! Family friendly!

great family experience. Mr. Luís was always very friendly and quick to respond. Mr. José and his wife were extremely friendly and available to help us. The house was clean and with firewood at the door so that we could spend our nights always warm. See you next

The stay at the alleyhouse was spectacular! The check in was super practical is done through a pin that is provided! Super clean rooms with plenty of blankets but the house has central heating which is very nice. Kitchen super complete with the utensils needed for cooking Comfortable living room with TV that can be connected to the mobile phone. Televisions in all rooms and all functional with good quality. The office was not necessary in our stay but whoever is for work and the tour is home is super recommended! Mr. Luís has always been quick and friendly in our doubts In short, if you are looking for a house to explore the wonders of that region, the alley house is super recommended!!
