Our stay at this awesome family-run business was nothing short of amazing! Our adventure began with Seancarlo, their son, who picked us up in a water taxi at the Cay and brought us to our casitas. The casitas themselves are super cute, comfortable, and offer an incredible view—the perfect island getaway! Just a few steps away is their restaurant, Mi Casa Too, where Lisa (our wonderful host) prepared delicious meals every time. The included breakfast was out of this world! Her husband, Shawn, was always at the restaurant, making sure we were well taken care of. Lisa also went above and beyond by helping us arrange water taxis and recommending a great diving school. Her kindness and hospitality made everything easy and enjoyable. We highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to come back for a longer visit!

Pond Cay is as amazing as it looks. It's not often that you get to have a tropical island all to yourself. Our group of eight found the home more than large enough so that everyone had their space but also had great gathering areas where we could spend time as a group. The home is better equipped than most I have stayed at with multiple kitchen tools and appliances that all worked well. The Island is perfect, tropical palm trees and surrounded by beautiful coral reefs. Its a short walk to the other side of the island where you can find a small beach area. Finally the sea life around the island is amazing, our whole group really enjoyed watching all of the fish and rays. I would also recommend Alexander the boat guide as he took us all around the island of Guanaja, hiking and snorkeling. Pond Cay is a truly unique and beautiful experience that I can highly recommend.

The hostel is the sort of rustic, laid-back place we were looking for. We liked walking, even in the slippery mud after rain. We loved the gang of friendly pets. Our hosts were responsive and shared great stories about themselves and the island. They checked in about our arrival plans and gave us a boat ride to the ferry for our departure. The views are fabulous, the house is spacious, and we had everything we needed to cook and relax. This is no resort; it is a little rough around the edges and not perfectly matching the listing. It is a place to expect the unexpected: we experienced a short power outage, troubleshooting with the water system, less than perfectly reliable internet, and even an earthquake! We were glad we arrived with a few groceries as things are sparse in Savannah Bight. The hotel next door had great food and a trip to Mangrove Bight offered a few more options. The hostel was well supplied with Salva Vida for purchase!

We liked the location of the house because it was not right next to anyone which was great privacy, but also you could see all the population just a short boat ride away! Be prepared to buy food out or bring some groceries home because you can’t walk to restaurants. But the host was very kind to take us to Mi Casa Too and even called ahead to make a reservation! The house was clean and comfortable! We Loved laying in the hammock on the front deck!

We’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnbs over the years and Keith’s place was one of the loveliest and most unique stays we’ve had. Everything about the house was perfect and so very welcoming. The large covered deck was perfect for a morning coffee, an after siesta in a hammock, an afternoon glass of wine at the canoe bar or to just enjoy the view of the bay, the gardens and the voracious hummingbirds! The kitchen was extremely well equipped: milk, eggs, bread and butter in the fridge, a welcome basket, any utensil you can imagine, sharp knives, lots of room to work in and a lovely big breakfast bar. There’s a comfortable living room and more importantly a comfy bed. Best of all is the boat and the amazing Captain Derek. Derek made a great stay into a phenomenal stay. He toured us around the islands, stopping at beaches, special snorkeling spots, delivering us seafood, arranging tours and making us feel like he was lucky to be our guide. We loved every minute of our Guanaja experience

I had an amazing stay at Lisa's Place Mi Casa 2. Lisa and Sean are super friendly and informative. The food was excellent and more than enough, you won't go away hungry or unsatisfied. I even asked for a special dinner request, nothing fancy, but non-menu, and they were more than happy to provide it. The rooms were excellent, everything I had any desire for, clean and comfortable with high ceilings and big walk in shower. Only warning is there are LOTS of stairs.
