Great little place just for a couple

The outdoor courtyard is especially nice and private-,with a fire pit, grill and comfortable chairs. It is a rustic location easy walking distance to North Shore Beach. If you want an ocean beach you can drive straight south for 20 minutes and reach Smiths Point State Park right on the ocean. The North Fork with its vineyards is a short drive and the Hamptons also only 30 minutes to West Hampton. You can fish, golf, walk among the wooded area and relax in peace. We had an amazing stay and highly recommend!!! This was the perfect location for a quick getaway outside the city while still being close to great restaurants, vineyards and beaches! The house was spacious and had everything we needed. The backyard was peaceful, private and we loved the hot tub! Akriti and Scott were extremely responsive and helpful and we can’t wait to return for another trip!

Really loved this airbnb! Would stay again! I love the lay out gives everyone a ton of space and was super clean. Easy 15 minute drive to most places we visited in New Haven. The only things that weren’t an issue for us but to keep in mind was the one bathroom for large groups, that can be challenging. Also, the ceilings are on the lower end for anyone over 6ft, my boyfriend had to watch his head at the doorways. Under 6 you are all good though. Lastly, one of the bedrooms has a bedroom behind it. This was not an issue at all for his but just to note. We did love that the entrance way has doors that you can close, so we actually used that as a sleeping space to have everyone more separated. We were a group of 7 and had a ton of room. All bedrooms are a pretty good size as well.

This house is in a quiet safe neighborhood, 30 mins from Montauk Beach and half the cost for 5 guests. Overall we loved it! The host recommended restaurants which is helpful. When we-reported a problem, someone was there to fix it the next morning. Kitchen well stocked, plenty of outdoor seating, comfy couches. Strange full bathroom cotton curtains a bit long and no liner, difficult to dry. The bath off the master bedroom the floor floods because curtain in there is lined but a bit short. Gotta keep a towel down. Garage is wonderful, laundry in basement handy. Decks off bedroom and patio off dining room both lovely. are beautiful lovely place to stay.

This house served our family very well for a multi-month stay. The house and property are just like the photos and all the amenities were great to have. Would recommend staying here if you are looking for a quiet place near the water in East Hampton. Petra was always very responsive with anything we needed and was an excellent host.

We had a great stay at Melissa’s place. The check in and out was super easy. The house was very clean and cozy. The location was great - a short walk took us to the main street and we were able to get around vineyards by taking Ubers. And it’s only a 10-minute walk to the LIRR train station which is so convenient. We enjoyed our experience and would hope to come back to enjoy more wine tasting in the area!
