Words would not describe the experience we had at this place. Dealing with Ru since before booking up until checking out was a breeze , always great in responding and answering questions. The pictures do not do justice to this house. Everything was amazing. Having Vusi (Chef) and Victoria (Housekeeper) on hand was the biggest blessing , those 2 are the highlight of tinkers and really go out of their to help make sure you are comfortable. The view was out of this world , having your own boat to take out for a meal on the lake was absolutely stunning with breathtaking views. My family and i were treated like royalty. Having a family reunion after such a long time and staying at a place like this was just the cherry on top. Location i would say is like 7/10 , it is about a 30 min drive to Phabeni gate and a 1 hour driver to Kruger gate - but the drive is definitely worth it to come back to such a place and stay. Huge thumbs up to Tinkers Lodge !

Best accommodation ever compared to 16 countries ive visited before. Nothings we needed that was not available. To top it all, the host was so kind and may she be blessed beyond her imagination.

It really was a perfect venue for a large group. We were 8 and it worked perfectly. It's all that they say it is, plus a lot more than you don't expect.

Tania and her husband were fantastic hosts. Very communicative, very helpful, and definitely went above and beyond what is expected from a host. The place was clean, easy to find, in a pretty area and within close driving distance of lots of restaurants. I will definitely be recommending it and will hopefully be back next year this time!
