Family-friendly vacation rentals in Grande-Terre

We were lucky enough to stay at this villa with friends during our stay in Guadeloupe. At 10 people, the villa was quite spacious enough for us to be comfortable. The photos exactly matched the place, I would even say they can't do justice to the view offered by this villa. The location is very good, not too far from the markets, beach easily accessible, with cars it is possible to walk anywhere on the island. The host was available all week and welcomed us as friends by recommending several restaurants and activities. Thanks Lawrence for the memories of a life! Next time!

Functional and very well located accommodation a stone's throw (5mn walk) from the beautiful Caravelle beach. The only negative was the wifi that was malfunctioning during our stay (almost unusable). Véronique welcomed us very warmly on site and remained available during our stay for any questions.

If we were to fly to Guadeloupe again, we would go back to Gérard. The place is perfectly located - an unobstructed view of the forest and the surf spot, which can be reached on foot in a few minutes. You don't hear anyone, just the sounds of the forest. It is very private and secluded and you have your own large parking space right in front of the house Gérard is a very caring host who wants to explain and tell you a lot so that you can learn as much as possible about Guadeloupe. He even thought of a well-stocked medicine cabinet for all eventualities.

Great weekend at Myriam's, the studio was perfect, the idyllic setting with the garden and pool, small welcome cocktail, hearty and super good breakfasts with lots of homemade things... At the top, we'll be back!

The villa is superb and particularly well maintained. Comfort and equipment question everything is at the top, whether it is the bedding, the jacuzzi, the swimming pool, the kitchen, the very relaxing outdoor spaces, or the practical barbecue. Nothing to complain about!!! We highly recommend staying here!

After a warm welcome from Francine , we took possession of her very charming house, quiet and superbly wooded. Everything is there for the best holiday in the sun. The place is secure, the veranda is beautiful and the little birds and others visit you from breakfast at the end of the evening. In short, we highly recommend this rental very well located 2 steps from the center of Saint François. Thank you Francine….

We only stayed one night at Martine and Martial's place and it was the last one in Guadeloupe before our departure. A very nice place, very clean and calm. A special thank you for the flexibility of hosts with our arrival and departure times as well as the welcome.

Rental as described. The private hot tub and pool that the hosts leave are a real plus at this place. Thanks again to Sarah and Marc for hosting and sharing. A nice meeting to make around a punch 😉

Perfect duplex for our week of work on Grande-Terre, well located to browse this part of Guadeloupe. Well arranged, two spacious bedrooms, and a ventilated terrace where it's nice to take a nap in the hammock. We loved the library! Thanks to Géraldine for the welcome, the planter (and the little extra Saturday night;-) and the tips on the surrounding shops. A place to discover, we'll be back!

Accommodation that we particularly appreciated: very clean , warm, comfortable, with a wise move in, very good bedding, a roof terrace with very nice views. Shops , restaurants nearby... Everything helped make our stay a pleasant one, we regret not having booked a longer stay... We also thank Anaelle for her welcome, kindness and responsiveness.

We loved: - you feel at home because there are all the needed daily accessories/utensils/etc. (high chair for baby, speakers, oil and salt and spices and a lot more) - the amacas are super comfortable - the open air living room and kitchen helps create a very nice vacation feeling between friends - the owners provide a very detailed and useful guide before arrival What we think can improve: - the owners require you to sign an extra contract on top of Airbnb terms and their communication sounded a bit "harsh" - some messages could be more friendly (e.g. the message to remind you of the check-out time) - there is no flexibility on check-in/check-out time and the gardener arrived at the villa even before 10am (time of check-out) - there were a lot of mosquitoes and no mosquito net provided (only in the room upstairs and the owner act as if it was scandalous that we brought one of them downstairs to use it - such a pity to treat your host this way - we left feeling not welcomed)

a very warm welcome by jovial people. The children were also extremely sweet and helpful. You notice that everything is done from the heart and the smallest things have been thought of: salt, olive oil, washing tablets, paper towels,... also a lot of nice extras (local specialties) and bread were provided. The stay was cozy and also as we had hoped for. Definitely price quality and recommended!

The place is even better than in the very well-equipped photos. Jo Anna is attentive to our needs and very responsive. In addition, as a caterer, she offers good food. It's perfect after a big day of sightseeing, it avoids thinking about the evening meal. We recommend this host.

Great place for two people! We had a great time. Marie was very welcoming. The place is quiet but close to everything. The access to the sea in the courtyard is wonderful. The apartment has everything we need. We recommend it.

Perfect house for a group of 12 people. We were 3 families and it was super nice. The sea view from the terrace is just beautiful.

We had a great week, in a green setting and a well-appointed house bordered by the pool that was beyond our expectations. We received great hospitality from Niko and his wife. Niko is very attentive and gives very good advice. Marie Galante is an island to visit and the locals are very kind. I would highly recommend Niko's place, its location and the villa is as in the photos see better. We'll be back without a second thought. Thank you again for welcoming us before the scheduled time and for letting us enjoy the house until we boarded. Talk soon .

Beautiful Airbnb, very quiet and exotic. The interior of the home is spacious and decorated with taste. But the outside is even better, a large terrace, surrounded by trees, with a private pool and a magnificent view of the horizon! I would 100% recommend!

We had a great time at Nathalie and Nicolas's house. Ideally located, the house is very pleasant to live in with its large covered terrace. Our hosts were adorable, very considerate and attentive to our well-being. Our communication was very fluid via messaging. Thank you for the little touches provided upon our arrival and a special thank you to Philippe who took care of us on site.

Thanks to Sabine for hosting us! The accommodation is very well located (close to the beach, the marina and shops) and easy to park. Very clean and well equipped. It allowed us to have a pleasant stay on the Grande Terre side.
