Cottage vacation rentals in Grand Rapids

The house was exactly as expected and presented. The hosts were great about communicating and left us the surprise of a gift certificate to enjoy at Pints&Quarts Pub. If you have never been there, it is a must try! Everyone in our group enjoyed their food and cocktails immensely, the service and atmosphere were right on point. It is a large menu, but everything we ordered for a group of six was cooked to perfection. The kitchen in the house was well stocked for cooking, including properly sharp knives, which was such a lovely surprise. The hot tub was amazing and crystal clear with properly working jets. We would love to stay here again in summer to enjoy the patio that is set up for perfect entertainment after a long day at the beach.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. BUT… the initial address given was not the address of the house so we have to drive another 30 minutes to get to the house. The house was clean, rustic and ideal for us 3 people and a dog. We enjoyed the amenities especially the billiards and kayaks. Also our dog enjoyed running around the property.

My daughter and I enjoyed the accommodations for our girl’s weekend. The house was very cozy and comfortable. We loved that they welcome dogs and have a big fenced in yard. We enjoyed shopping and some great local restaurants. The hosts checked in with us to be sure our stay was going well. We hope to come back sometime.

stayed here with my friends for my birthday for a weekend and we loved it! very nice place. we especially liked the hot tub. the garage room is cold in the winter so we didn’t have anyone sleeping in there but besides that everything about this place was perfect. was my first airbnb stay and i felt safe here! hosts were very nice

Stayed for a long weekend. We wanted to get out of the city and relax! This is exactly the place to do that. A peaceful environment with no shortage of things to do- from watching movies on the projector to making s’mores by the fire. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking to slow down and hang out. The house was stocked with necessities and we brought the rest. Cozy, beautiful, relaxing, and serene.

This cottage was nice and comfortable with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The backyard was well equipped with a gas grill, patio furniture and a hot tub. Just minutes from downtown Saugatuck there was lots to do and great dinning. My boyfriend and I bowled a couple games at Alley pizzeria right around the corner from the cottage on Saturday night and on Sunday we went to drag bingo at The Dunes resort. Such a blast! I’ll definitely keep this cottage saved in my favorites to book again later

The place was great! Just as described. Close to downtown and easily walkable. Plenty of space and Kim was very responsive and helpful. Would stay again!

Bree’s cottage was the PERFECT getaway for my girls bookworm weekend! Not only did Bree chat with me beforehand about how fun our idea was - she also answered any questions that I had immediately & even sent out someone to check on a gas smell, that turned out to be nothing! The cottage was GORGEOUS & SO cozy! I genuinely cannot wait to go back in the summer & use all of the amenities she offers! The hot tub was huge & pristine! We had EVERYTHING we needed available in the house for cooking, cleaning, & feeling at home. We brought a ton of extras thinking we would need items to cook & such, and Bree had each item there we thought wouldn’t be! I’m so incredibly thankful for the experience we had & cannnnnot wait to book again. Bree is a 7283836/10 Host & was made for this! Book now or you’ll regret it!

My mom, sister, and I stayed here for our ladies weekend. It was very cute, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Plenty to do in the area - wineries, cidery, lavender farm, etc. The perfect place for our getaway! We highly recommend.

We had a great time at this sweet beach house. It was the perfect size for our family, and very cozy in November.

Great location within a few minutes walk of the beach. Loved sitting on the deck and listening to the waves. Cottage had a great layout and everything we needed for a long beach weekend. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Wally so generously had the cottage ready earlier than expected. Picking up the keys at the gallery was simple and convenient with the cottage so close by. The cottage is quaint, cozy and beautifully appointed with colorful art and unique items. The location is right in town, so we didn't need to use our vehicle during our stay and only did so to explore the surrounding area. The cottage has an enclosed small yard area, which was great as we brought our small dog. There are great shops and restaurants within a few blocks. During our stay I looked at the Airbnb website to check availability for the summer! I highly recommend Dumela Cozy Cottage!

This place was an ideal location to visit the beach, see all the ships at the boat yard and easy walking distance to a huge park. The beds were comfy and everything was clean. Perfect place to stay as a family with young kids; our girls had so much fun with the toys provided in the living room. We accidentally left behind something important and Kevin mailed it to us right away. We’ll keep this place in mind for future visits. Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed at Romain’s place in Spring Lake for a few nights in November. This location was perfect for us. It’s a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Quiet streets that are great for dog walks! The cottage was well designed, super comfortable, and warm and cozy during some snow storms that came through. It was really nice sitting in the cottage and watching the snow fall with the view of the lake in the background. Romain was helpful and responsive. There is a grocery store, few restaurants and a bakery 4 minutes away. The cottage is also a short walk to a small public beach on Spring Lake. This area was cozy during winter months and I’m sure would be fun and lively during summer months. There is a big back yard. WiFi was good. I would recommend this place!

My partner and I came here for our anniversary and had a great stay. Management was responsive and proactive with everything we needed. Cute little place that suited our needs.

The Chook Nook provided my family of 7 plus pet a nice affordable getaway in a beautiful relaxing environment. The kitchen was well stocked with seasonings and cook ware. Bathroom was clean and well stocked with clean towels. Beds were clean and comfortable. The host Jennifer was very responsive to any questions. Thank you again for being a great host on short notice.

We enjoyed our stay at the Holland Lake Cottage! It was perfect for a winter weekend getaway to relax and enjoy the warmth inside while enjoying the view of all the snowfall on the lake. The cottage was clean, and had a really nice, fully equipped kitchen. Jacob and Chelsea were terrific hosts and were great about communicating information relevant to our stay. We appreciated their hospitality and would highly recommend staying at this cottage!

If you want a serene setting to enjoy peace and quiet with spectacular sunsets over a beautiful lake, this is it! Aaron’s place was perfect for our weekend getaway and conveniently located within a five minute drive from downtown Hastings. Clean space, comfortable bed and all the little extras from charger cords to paddle boards to cozy fireplace (and did I mention spectacular sunsets?)!!! Don’t hesitate on this one. Highly recommend!

We feel so fortunate to have found this beautiful home, spacious enough for our kids, their spouses and our grandchildren! The kitchen is so well stocked with not only everything you’ll need for cooking, but also with spices and condiments! We will not hesitate to book this home again! Ben was so responsive to my questions and his communication was great! No complaints about this beautiful rental!

The little yellow cottage was simply charming. Great for families or just an adult getaway. The views are phenomenal!! Lynn was such an amazing host and truly made our stay!

Just as described. We really enjoyed this cabin, it was relaxing and comfortable. It felt like visiting my Grandma’s up north cabin. The area is beautiful, the lake is really pretty. The neighborhood was friendly on our walk. The place felt clean and well appointed.

Brian was a great host, very responsive and helpful with getting us checked in and throughout our stay. The house was great for our group of 8, plenty of space and very easy to find. We were able to walk to the closest beach in 10-15 minutes, and the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Pool access was very nice as well and close to the house. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again in the future!
