Perfect house for a weekend with the family! Plenty of space for everyone. The location felt isolated even in the middle of the neighborhood. The hot tub was a nice touch to set this house above others in the area. Would definitely stay here again!

Katie was proactive in reaching out to us and checking in regarding our stay. When we needed assistance, she was responsive and helpful. Even after our stay, she continued to help us when we realized that we left some personal items behind! All around great experience.

We had a wonderful family get-away and Rick's home was the ideal place to stay! The location was perfect. The views of the lake were spectacular and the home was cozy with many thoughtful amenities.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful Lake Superior retreat while volunteering and spectating at the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon. The location was perfect—peaceful, scenic, and provided easy access to key race spots like the checkpoint Sky port, Otter Lake road crossing, and the Grand Portage finish. It was also an easy drive to Grand Marais for dining and exploring. The cabin is a perfect mix of rustic charm and comfort, with stunning lake views and cozy in-floor heating. After long days out in the cold, it was the perfect place to warm up and unwind. Tiffany was an excellent host—extremely easy to communicate with and very responsive. The property’s history, nearby Hovland Dock, and surrounding trails make this a special place for any North Shore adventure. We highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to relax and explore this beautiful area!

We wanted to get away to enjoy the peace and quiet in nature for the weekend and we got just that. This home is cozy, clean, and serene. Before I even left, I sent the listing to a friend as a recommendation for bird watching and time in nature. We were even blessed by seeing a black bear less than thirty feet from the hot tub. He stopped to evaluate us while we evaluated him and then he went on his way. My fiancée and I invited a few friends along for this trip and they complimented and thanked me multiple times on my choice for this home and told me I get to choose next time as well. Erin is a wonderful host, she is very clear, accommodating, and responsive. You won’t regret this home if you choose to stay here.

Lovely cabin. Visited at the beginning of October when all of the colors are vibrant! Absolutely beautiful. Got to canoe, go star gazing, and hit some local trails. Our dog loved being with us. The cabin is cozy and had everything we needed to make all of our meals there. Would recommend!

We had a great time at this AirBnb!!! So peaceful and quiet, an amazing weekend getaway. We loved looking at the stars and watching the sunrises and sunsets right from the cozy warm cabin, listening to the wood stove crackling. We were very glad we remembered snow shoes, it was quite the hike in! It added to the private atmosphere.

This is a wonderful off grid get away. We did a winter trip and pulled sleds with skis. Brought in water, coffee, and food. Made fires in the stoves for heat, and had a couple great saunas with cold plunges in the lake. Everything required work which is what my group was looking for. Wood to split, fires to feed, and lanterns to see at night. Close enough to ski back to the car and head to Ely anytime we wanted. Would recommend for unplugging from the busy world. Still had cell service if needed, but we stayed on airplane mode for the most part.

An absolutely wonderful stay! We spent time around the fire, walking the beach, and loved the gas fires and sauna inside too. Really enjoyed cooking with great pans and utensils , and gathering at the table with a great view inside and out. The wrap around porch is welcoming and the path around the fire pit to the lake spectacular! We will be back!

Hands down our favorite Airbnb stay EVER! Brien and Shelley were so kind and communicative! Their cabin was peaceful, cozy, clean, beautiful, and an incredible value for the cost. We could tell they put a lot of love and intention into their space! Far enough from people for privacy but close enough to town for convenience! We could hear the creek from the porch and loved walking the trails. The bed was very soft and the gas fireplace created the perfect ambiance. The almost full surround of windows was perfect to watch the sun set and the stars come out. We were very sad to leave and we will definitely be back!

Spent a few days and wished it was longer! loves the view and bunnies on the hill each morning, the path was great for a stroll, the tub and shower AMAZING. Jenn also provided a pack an play for my baby. cozy house I'd definitely want to visit again. Thank you!

The kitchen was well-equipped, and overall home had a calm feel that made it easy to settle in. This Airbnb was perfect for my family and we will be back soon!

The cabin was wonderful. It was very peaceful and quiet; all that could be heard was the babbling of the Baptism River nearby. The cabin was very clean and easy to get to. We’d definitely stay here again!

The hosts were responsive and accommodating. I was able to check in early and bring my pups! I had everything I needed for the dogs including an extra crate, bowls, beds, toys, and poop bags. Thanks again!

Great place to stay with awesome views. We snowmobiled there and it was easy great access to the trails and lake. Hosts were very kind and checking to see if we needed anything. Would highly recommend staying at this place.

We enjoyed our stay at Iver’s place very much! The house was very clean and we were so impressed with all the little extras. We took full advantage of the sauna, games, and guide books. This would be such an awesome spot in the summer with the wonderful patio and access to the fire pit. Also, it was a big plus that our dog could join us!

Such a clean, cozy and comfortable stay. The house was perfect for visiting Duluth. We especially enjoyed the view of Lake Superior from the dining room table. Thanks so much!
