Apartment vacation rentals in Grand Marais

I would like to thank the host for such an amazing place where we all had great pleasure. Everything was available as per our need though it was cold well maintained heater makes us homely environment. We even get a chance to ride ATV which was outstanding ( thanks to host for giving her transport to us believeing in us and making our stay much better) and had a tour inside forest and get a bunch of information. Thank you 😊

This Airbnb was great! Perfect location, easy to find and the amenities were awesome. It had a well-stocked kitchen, there’s tons of room and we felt right at home the moment we walked in. The bathroom is super spacious, there’s a nice deck off the bedroom, and plenty of other space to relax. I would stay again in the future.

An incredible space at the end of a private drive, overlooking the lake. The space was warm and welcoming, literally and figuratively! Loved the front sitting room with floor to ceiling windows to sit and sip coffee and enjoy the views. The proximity to the neighboring Houghton Falls preserve was enjoyed using the trail on the property. Peaceful, relaxing, made use of the large fire pit outdoors with the lake in the background. Close enough to town if you forget something and need to run in real quick, otherwise peaceful privacy to enjoy nature and the beautiful surroundings.

Stayed here for Valentine’s Day weekend and it was beautiful and perfect! So clean and so cozy and loved having the whirlpool tub as well! The views are also amazing! Thank you for a spectacular weekend!

Joe was amazing and we had a great time with our two kids. Peaceful, serene, and the perfect space. He always had fires prepped and ready for us and you can’t beat the view!

The apt was VERY clean and nice. It is decorated perfectly. We were really impressed with how nice and spotless it is. I never walk around without shoes on and I did here. It's in a great location, close to everything in town. The theater downstairs is very nice also. Enjoyed watching Deadpool vs Wolverine. Highly recommend this airbnb.

Mitch was responsive and everything was as described. This was my first time staying in Grand Marais and this was an awesome spot right in the lake! Being able to see the lake from 3 sides of the space was awesome. Bonus was being right next to a co-op for grabbing groceries after arriving was very convenient.

Great stay, Great walking access to town. Very attractive and well supplied unit. Great access to the ferry to Madeline Island, The town itself is a very p positive draw even as the season was coming to a close when we were there. No complaints. Easy to recommend.

Great little apartment that felt spacious and comfortable. We went for a long weekend and it was the perfect home base for our North Shore adventures. A great kitchen and good grocery store options. A lovely deck! We highly recommend and plan to stay again.

We had an amazing stay! Loved the trails that lead right from property. Beds were comfy, fires at night were peaceful, and well equipped kitchen to make all our meals! We’ll definitely be back!

The Outer Island Apartment was lovely as always. We enjoy coming up here annually for our anniversary and we are delighted each time we stay at Molly's place with a large covered porch, windows that show us the beauty of the great waters of Lake Superior, ease of parking, super comfortable king bed, a walk in shower, super comfy towels and robes, and a sweet kitchen space that allows us to prepare and reheat food, brew coffee, and chill our cold drinks in the frig. The Windseeker group is from our understanding, a woman owned management group and they certainly tend to their role with diligence, quick responses, extra touches, bright smiles, and a kindness that is a joy to experience. We will return, and hope they put us in the weekend for 2025 for us to celebrate our anniversary once again, in a peaceful and restful place. Gratefully, Kathleen & Brian

The room was really cozy and had all the amenities needed with a fully equipped kitchen and tables for lunch/dinner. The host was very sweet and friendly and gave us a lot of local recommendations. It was also pretty easy to get inside because of the helpful instructions. Overall we had a good stay and would want to come back sometime later.

The location was perfect for our trip and the space provided everything we needed.

The apartment was great. We went to Grand Marais to snowmobile with my 86 year old father. The snowmobile trail was right in front of the place and we were off riding. Having the grocery store and snowmobile shop right next door was great. 2 blocks to gas station. Plenty of parking with our 4 place snowmobile trailer.

Talk about a stellar stay! I was thrilled to be back in Minnesota for work, and this place was perfectly located right next to a great coffee shop, Amity. The space was so spotless and cozy, I almost didn’t want to leave (almost). Huge shoutout to Chad and his team for taking such good care of me! Chad seriously went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, and that definitely didn’t go unnoticed. I’ll definitely be renting through Heirloom again!

Beautiful location with a great view of the lake and cliffs! Loved the wood burning fireplace.

My family and I were very happy with: the location, the great water view from the balcony, the attached bookstore (a must visit), everything you need in Bayfield being within walking distance (including the ferries to the Apostle Islands & the Saturday morning farmer's market), the long list of amenities in the apartment, the cleanliness of the apartment, easily accessible parking spaces, and the quick and thorough responses from the hosts. Some patrons at the bar next door were laughing & having fun a little loudly outside on Friday night when we were going to bed, but the sound machines that were available in each of the bedrooms easily took care of it for us. (Saturday night, the patrons were quiet, but we still enjoyed using the sound machines.) We needed help with the airbed and the hosts took care of it promptly. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time in Two Harbors. We took advantage of the new bike path and walked into town. The Vanilla Bean was a fantastic place to enjoy a delicious breakfast and the outdoor hot tub was the perfect way to unwind at the end of the day. Thank you for hosting us!

Cannot say enough good things about this place. It is somewhat small—but it did not feel cramped at all—cozy and smartly designed for optimal space and efficiency. We enjoyed all the lovely art and up north decor. Nice hot shower, comfy beds, the kitchen has everything —simple and easy—fantastic location —and the view of Lake Superior—PRIMO! We skied at Lutsen and it was a 7-10 minute drive. We loved the amenities—the hot tub, sauna, and the small pool— so perfect….the kids loved the ping pong table. We loved playing cards in the living room with the fire going and just felt so at home. We hope to stay here again on our next journey to this amazingly beautiful part of Minnesota. Zach and Abby —you’ve got a real GEM! Thank you for your hospitality!

Had a great stay! The lake views are incredible

We stayed here only one night, so unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the various amenities they had to offer. However, it was quite, had a nice view, and provided us with a good nights rest before we head off to Lutsen for snowboarding.

What a gorgeous property! This is one of the cleanest and most well-kept rentals I have ever stayed in. Danny was incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful. I love how there are little labels on things to help guide you, yet they don't take away from the cozy, warm, and inviting atmosphere. I absolutely loved it here! Reliable wifi, amazing indoor/outdoor hot tub accessible via an indoor walkway that is just down 1 level and extremely close. Being at the end of the hallway was quiet and private. It was great that we could bring our dog with. The views were breathtaking! We loved the jacuzzi tub inside the master bedroom and the complimentary coffee and tea were an added bonus. We will be back again and again!
