This AirBnB was truly gorgeous! It was our first time visiting Mauritius and was a great place to stay to do all the things we wanted to. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly and will happily answer any questions about your trip or recommend things for you to do. The cottage itself is very spacious and clean, the outside patio area and pool backs out onto forest and is a perfect peaceful and private place to relax. The local area is very nice, with a selection of shops, supermarkets and restaurants and some lovely beaches. We particularly enjoyed the proximity to the Black River National Park, which has some amazing walks, waterfalls and scenery. Would definitely recommend getting a hire car to be able to maximise exploration!

It was perfect! All we needed for a break! The house is well located with a stunning view and sunset, surroundings are quiet, the house is well-equipped, beds are comfortable, everything is clean and Amreen is an amazing host! She welcomed us and was very responsive the whole time we needed something. We loved our time at her place❤️

A very nice stay at this place: having a private pool was really nice! It should also be noted that the rooms are very spacious. The neighborhood is residential, very quiet and is quite close to the amenities and the most beautiful beaches on the island. For the rest everything is in line with what we see in the photos. I recommend it!

It was a tropical paradise, felt like home from home. You wake up hearing the ocean, incredible spot for sunset and has everything you need and more. Definitely will be staying here again, would highly recommend.

We enjoyed staying at this house. We appreciated the snacks - especially for the kids. We were comfortable and had everything we needed.

We had a pleasant 2 night stay at Shreya's place. The communication was spot on and we had no issue in reaching the location. We had reached the location a bit earlier than communicated and Raj (Co-host) managed to meet us on a very short notice. He was extremely helpful in getting the minor niggles sorted out and suggesting local attractions. The house is as described in the listing with almost all the amenities included, that you might need plus a lovely garden with a pool The location is close to the popular beaches (Perybere, Mont Choisy and La Cuvette) and can be reached easily by car/bike. It would be ideal to have a personal mode of transportation, like a rental car/bike, to visit the attractions nearby. There is a shopping mall quite close which has several eateries, and also a supermarket, from where you can stock up on the supplies. In all, we wished we stayed longer, as this is a place you stay for a week, not a few days!

Chris was a perfect host his recommendations were brilliant he even came to meet us when we first arrived to ensured we had links of places to go local weather apps he was charming & accommodating we instantly felt at home. The flat is perfectly located in Grand Baie, as a family with 2 children (15 & 19) in our opinion the best location on the island (we visited most of the north, west & south). The flat was spacious, clean & fresh and kept so for our 2 week stay by the amazing Uma who also cooked for us on request -we had a traditional Mauritian dish & a curry both delicious. Uma even chased us for our washing - coming home with a clean case of clothes, what a treat. The flat is on the main road, you can hear traffic at weekends but don’t be put off it’s a small price to pay for a perfect location with a stunning picture post card view, amazing sunsets walkable to everything - the beach, the market bazaar, shops, supermarket & a wide variety of restaurants & street food on the beach

The apartment and the entire complex are just perfect: easy and uncomplicated communication with the hosts, clean, well located and equipped with everything you need. We also could check out late because of our flight without having to pay extra. Thank you for a wonderful week with you!

A chic, small apartment. There was nothing missing. Doo immediately exchanged the gas bottle when it was empty and also immediately provided us with a clothes spider when we inquired. A very friendly, helpful host Absolutely recommended and would be our first choice for another stay

Jean’s was a wonderful host.. we landed early and he allowed us to check in much earlier and also we had a late flight and he was able to let us check out later as well, which was very nice of him. He recommended us some local restaurants and even a taxi driver. He was quick to respond and was very friendly.

Very good location in residential area 10min from the beach, ATM, supermarket (Jumbo), restaurants, bars, souvenir shops, excursions. The fruit and vegetable merchant is less than 2min away, quality products. Flic en Flac is a great place to go north, south, or east. National parks are close by car. Mauritius is an island to visit in detail to understand its richness (culture, culinary, landscape). Kuzagen has always been there to answer our questions. Thank you. The apartment is clean, the rolling balcony terrace is perfect for morning and evening meals with views of the sea and its surroundings. The washing machine works well (programs with temperatures and delicate if needed) and is on the terrace (this is normal in Mauritius). Hot water is present in the showers. A pool common to the building, with a nice 360 view, is on the rooftop terrace easily accessible.

The accommodation offered by Bissoon is comfortable, well-equipped and very well located, twenty meters from a bakery (ideal for breakfast), one hundred meters from a shopping center (ideal for shopping if you want to cook yourself, because the kitchen of the apartment is very functional) and, especially 250 meters from the beach! Plus the host is very welcoming! Recommended!:-)

Spacious apartment with stunning views from the terrace, nice infinity pool and great location to explore South of the island. We had a great stay and may return at some point. Host was responsive and accommodated all reasonable requests.

What a gem this place is! If you’re looking for something else than resort life when visiting Mauritius, look no further. The apartment was well equipped and just as pictured, with a lovely private terrace overlooking the garden, pool, beach and colorful sunsets. The location is perfect if you’re looking for a quiet place to end your evening after spending the day exploring. Ambroise and Ganesh were such lovely hosts, always so responsive, helpful and up for a chat. We had the best time and would highly recommend!

Spacious, comfortable, clean and very well equipped accommodation, ideal for a family.. Large terrace. Charming hosts and always available. Pretty beach of La Preneuse 2 minutes walk as well as restaurants and shops. Ideal for access to the natural park (just 15 minutes by car or 1h30 by foot for the brave😁). My only regret is not being able to meet Sebastien and Valerie during my stay. That's a good reason to come back!

Sheel’s apartment is beautiful, with gorgeous decor and felt like a home from home. Super clean and in a good location, close enough to walk to the beach but far enough out from the centre to be nice and quiet.

We stayed at Devi's apartment for 3 weeks and everything was perfect from our arrival to our departure. The apartment is modern, bright, functional, secure and super clean. Devi is a beautiful person, welcoming, considerate, generous who cares about the well-being of his hosts as well as super responsive in case of problems. We can only highly recommend Devi's apartment. We'll be happy to go back. We recommend you to rent a car to explore the island. Thanks again Devi for your hospitality!

The penthouse apartment is spacious and has three bedrooms, each with its own attached bathroom/toilet. The biggest bedroom also has a spacious terrace. Meals with several people can be taken outside on the balcony at the dining table available there, but it was quite warm during our stay. The pool is great and in the sea you will find great coral benches if you swim a little further out. We did not identify dangerous currents. There are many sea urchins near the shore, so you should be careful.

What a lovely house! Fully equipped and very tastefully furnished. I really liked the work room, as I also had to work. Great to live amidst the locals and catch the sounds and smells. Giulio and Christine, who live underneath are incredibly friendly and you can do small groceries at Sea Way snack. Fresh bread in the morning is recommended. Go on a day trip with Giulio and his boat! He is going to give you an unforgettable day.

We had a great 12 night stay at the property - very nice accommodation, modern and well maintained. The swimming pool is also very nice. The property is conveniently located with a quick walk to nice beaches. Communication with Sabrina was very good, with a quick response time and very helpful. I will definitely recommend this property!!

Our stay in Flic en Flac was nothing short of exceptional, thanks to a stunning penthouse apartment and the most incredible host, Ian. The three bedrooms, each with king-size beds, offered unparalleled comfort, ensuring blissful sleep every night. But the real highlight was the private rooftop with a jacuzzi and breathtaking views of Flic en Flac and the mountains—a perfect spot for morning coffee or evening sunsets. The apartment itself was impeccably designed, with a fantastic kitchen, a cozy sitting room, and top-notch amenities. It’s kid-friendly too, making it perfect for families—we’re already planning our return! Now, about Ian: he’s simply the best host we’ve ever had. When minor issues arose (Netflix setup and a rooftop power socket), he resolved them instantly—think electricians on speed dial and a brand-new firestick for Netflix. His attentiveness, warmth, and efficiency turned an amazing stay into a perfect one. Book this place without hesitation—you’ll thank me later!
