Places to stay in Grand Bay

My family, our dogs and I had a great time!! House was stocked with anything necessary for cooking, entertainment and relaxing. Dana gave helpful recommendations for local food and activities. A lot of thought was put into the amenities and they did not disappoint. We had a great time at the private beach, kayaking in the ocean, looking for seashells, and just soaking up family time. We HIGHLY recommend staying here and will stay again if we're back in the area.

There are many reasons A View With a Room has SO many five star reviews! The stunning view and sound of the ocean when you first you step on the balcony tops the list! The beautiful beach is a very short walk on the boardwalk AND your hosts kindly share their beach equipment. Additionally, two pools are within steps from the unit to enjoy! The condo itself is immaculate and thoughtfully organized with EVERYTHING you could possibly think of-coffee for the morning, and an ice maker to use for happy hour cocktails! Fresh flowers were on the table and delicious desserts were in the refrigerator upon arrival. Southern hospitality at its finest, ya’ll!!!! We loved the Fort Morgan location. The beach was quieter than other beaches in Gulf Shores yet a short drive from so many amazing restaurants where we mostly ordered SEAFOOD! A binder provided information about things to do and places to eat which was helpful. Thank you Wade and Nickie for sharing your piece of heaven with us. ⛱

Perfect place for us while we were in town two nights for a wedding. The place was clean and as described. The private beach was awesome. My dog and I enjoyed it!!

A touch far down the beach but great if you just want to chill. Nice to not have traffic as soon as you leave the building

Our family of 6 had a wonderful getaway at this little cutie! We didn’t want to break the bank for our vacation, but didn’t want to feel like we were lacking either and staying here, was just the ticket. Great location, beautiful views and Adam (and Stacey) were very responsive when I reached out. It was very clean, well thought out, and esthetically pleasing . Yes it’s a small space, but if you utilize it wisely and plan to be out and about, no biggie. We spent our days on the beach, visiting Fort Morgan, Dolphin Cruising, day tripping to the adorable town of Fairhope, hitting up the Gulf Shores Zoo, finding fun places to eat, and doing all the touristy things and this location made that a breeze.

The longboard was an amazing house for our vacation. It was 5 star all the way! Raelene communicated and answered all my questions before our trip. The home was everything you can hope for in a vacation home; the kitchen was the best we have ever had with high end appliances and grill, the home is thoughtful and well laid out, there are all the amenities from beach toys and beach towels, to blankets and games indoors. The location cannot be beat. We fished, swam, walked the beach daily, and relaxed! If you are looking for a vacation home…this is the one!

I loved this condo. The view is amazing and I cannot overestimate the HUGE kitchen island! Steps away from pools, hot tubs and the beach!

We arrived from out of state about an hour after check-in. Tammy was taking the trash can to the curb, and gave us the pool key, in case we wanted to use it. She was super friendly, and the house was beautiful. Everything was comfortable, area was quiet and the house was very clean and tidy. Thank you for such a great place to stay.

We loved this place. It had great space for multiple families for our beach trip together. Common areas are big enough to allow for hanging out. Multiple bathrooms so getting ready was never an issue. We LOVED the screened-in patio and the downstairs hang-out area. The only downside was the distance to the beach. It is walkable, however, it is too far with little kids/infants and all the beach stuff. And no view of the water from the house. But overall a great place, and we would stay again! Clean. Spacious.

This place was perfect! Great proximity to the beach, especially considering it is a pet-friendly home. And, close to town if we needed anything. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The beach was not the least bit crowded, and we had beautiful weather. We loved the layout of the house and how spacious it is. Plenty of everything for comfort and for a home away from home! The instructions were clear and posted in multiple places. The owner was very communicative and friendly. Definitely a place we would stay again and again! Thank you for a perfect vacation!

Great rental on the canal. Walkable to the beach. We enjoyed using their bikes for rides into town and the kayaks for trips around the canal. Rental was well laid out and well furnished.

We enjoyed our stay. It was a perfect location for us to enjoy the beach.

Our stay was wonderful! We appreciated the beach toys and the tennis and pickleball equipment. With the pool and tennis court right behind the condo and the beach literally a few minutes drive away, there were easy options to keep busy. The kids quickly learned to listen for the music every afternoon from the ice cream truck. They also liked to check to see if the little gators were sunning themselves by the ponds. Ft. Morgan was just down the road so we were able to fit in a little history too. We did some cooking and baking, taking advantage of the fact that the condo's kitchen was well-equipped. The neighborhood is quiet and it's not a far drive to get into town for mini golf and restaurants and souvenir shopping and the zoo which is a nice size for younger kiddos. A return trip is in our future plans!

We loved our stay at Jennifer's place on Dauphin Island. The house was super clean and had everything we needed for our family of 5 and our dog. We really enjoyed the bird sanctuary nearby. The back porch was a lovely place for morning coffee and dinner in the evening.

Very nice stay on Dauphin Island, with a fantastic host. Would stay again anytime, and hope to!
