Relaxing spot with jaw dropping views among the clouds. Authentic local experience well equipped for cooking a supper and sitting near the fireplace if night is chilly, away from the traffic and hustle of the city. Great host.

Maren was a super accommodating host with our last minute booking allowing us to stay for 3 nights. House and pool both really nice and secure fenced safe areas for our dog which is great for our peace of mind. Lovely area and great views down to the sea. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday in a fantastic rural location in Spain then I cannot recommend this place enough!! Everything about it is perfect. It has everything you need including absolutely stunning views. It’s the 1st place we’ve stayed at that is actually better in person than it is in the pictures!! We took our 2 year old little boy with us who loved running around the spacious outside area and swimming in the fantastic pool. Communication with the host was fantastic from the outset including the entire time we were actually there. We will definitely be returning here again in the future. A****

I can't recommend this place enough. The owner was beyond helpful and friendly. The pool is big and clean, and the place itself spacious enough to hold a lot of people. The photos don't do the place justice, it's absolutely stunning, sorrounded by nature and perfect to disconnect from the hustle of everyday life. The views are breathtaking. There's no AC, but it's built to withstand the hot weather so it wasn't an issue. We stayed for 3 months without any issues and had a wonderful time, will definitely visit again.

Lovely place to stay when visiting Granada and want a car. We stayed for 6 days and drove to hiking routes, made morning and dinner at home and had a good time. Lovely little apartment with great views, tranquility and light. Since it was a little chilly in the weather, we loved a wood-burning stove. Easy to the city and shopping, as well as trips in the area. Nice roof terrace overlooking the mountains - cozy living room and nice kitchen.

Cosy apartment with stunning views of the mountains, river and ocean. Great location just a few minutes walk from the old town, shops, playgrounds, restaurants and starting point for hiking trails. Only small inconvenience was the steep staircase to the apartment, we had to carry our baby + stroller when entering and exiting the building. Nuria was a great host, even accommodating us with an extra desk space when we needed it. Thank you!

Our villa was very peaceful and had outstanding views. The directions we received from Daniel where very accurate and as a result we found the villa very easy. Daniel was always on hand to communicate with. Overall we had a lovely relaxing time in Casa Montilla. Breda

We had a very pleasant stay in the beautiful cave. The atmosphere was very cozy and Lieve was a very gracious hostess. We spent the days exploring the Gor area, where there is many beautiful hikes and unique sightings. The afternoons and evenings was spent in front of the fireplace. Very relaxing stay, we will definitely be back.

We have 12 days in the Apartment and were delighted! The apartment is very nicely decorated and we felt very comfortable. The outdoor area is much larger than it can be seen in the photos. You can look out to the sea from the terrace and enjoy the sunrise! We really enjoyed everything very much and we will definitely come back again!

The location of the Cortijo is ideal, in a quiet area of the village but at the same time with the proximity to Granada (about 20 minutes by car). The house is tastefully decorated, it is very spacious, both the living room, dining room, rooms and bathrooms. Perfect for going to spend a few days with family or friends. In our case, we really enjoyed the fireplace (although the house was warm from the time of our arrival) and the barbecue. It also struck us to be able to feed the chickens in the morning and pick up fresh eggs. We would definitely recommend this house, not only in winter, but also in summer, for those who want to enjoy the large outdoor area that has a swimming pool and its hammocks, a basketball court and a very spacious porch, among other facilities. And thank you Josué for your attention, it's a great affitrion!

Quiet place, no noise and no houses around. Perfect to disconnect for a few days. Maria Dolores was very helpful at all times, giving us flexibility in terms of check-in and check-out times. The house is quite spacious and has everything, we didn't miss anything. It provides bath gel and towels. Everything was very clean and well cared for. We will stay here again and recommend this place

We had a very pleasant and satisfying stay. The house is true to what was shown in the photos, very clean and with spaces to enjoy. The host has been very attentive and friendly. Very happy with the experience.

We absolutely loved the villa, the area was so picturesque and the villa had perfect layout for our two families. Carina and her husband were extremely attentive and helpful - We will be back!

A splendid classic home in the Spanish hills. We loved our stay here. Peaceful and private. We picked some oranges and nuts in the nearby trees. Enjoyed the padel. Neighbor nick sold us some yum olive oil. Francis or Jen always helpful on text messages. We hope to come back.

We had a wonderful time in Bev's accommodation - the pool was great for cooling off in the hot temperatures and we had a marvellous view of the mountains. There was also a brand new barbecue which we were allowed to use for cosy barbecue evenings. The flat was very clean inside and out. Bev was a great host, she even provided us with food on our arrival and recommended lots of great local sights and events. We would love to come back!

Fantastic home base for visiting Jaen. It’s close to the city, but far enough to feel secluded. The property is magnificent, and the amenities perfect. Jesus, the property manger, was so kind to our family and a highlight of our trip.

Beautiful villa with stunning views. The free access to fruit and veg from the finca was a nice touch. Had a great week there and would happily recommend.

Five stars. Beautiful and huge home. We loved enjoying the view from the roof deck. Only one minor downside was that only four towels (one towel per guest) were provided so we needed to do laundry to have beach towels. Also be aware that trash can only be taken out at night so you will need to carry out any trash you generate on your last morning. Still great stay, would visit again and bring our own towels

We enjoyed our stay in El Cortijillo! Balbino and Paulina make the place special through their hospitality. The garden is designed with a lot of love for detail. In the apartment, it can be well endured even in colder January nights, as it is sufficiently equipped with blankets and firewood. The accommodation is located directly on the Vía Verde - renting bicycles was very straightforward. The Subbética is also a beautiful region for hiking - we will be happy to come back!

This place is magical! The village is beautiful and peaceful, and I felt 100% at home. it's the perfect place for scaping the madness of city life and they have a hidden garden that makes you feel like you are in a fairy tale! The hosts are very friendly and attentive! We will be back with out a doubt! Thank you!!

The finca is very quiet and secluded for a very relaxing holiday. The swimming pool and porch with beautiful ones invite you to linger. The large room with living room, bedroom and kitchen is very nicely decorated. The bathroom is fully equipped. I would book the place again to relax in a quiet place. The landlord is very helpful. Just a nice quiet holiday.

Really lovely spot with amazing, large pool, that you can actually swim in, even with a group of eight, outdoor seating to relax and enjoy views. Our group appreciated all the separate bathrooms and cooking indoors and out and eating on the balcony. Host was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended! Malaga, Marbella, and Granada are all about an hour to an hour and a half away. El Torcal ( remarkable rock formations on a hike) is only 1 hour. Walkable little market for beer/wine. We came by car, so not sure about public transportation. Do be aware that there is no dishwasher, but the lovely unique dishes are great. Occasionally you hear neighboring dogs , but the road is quiet. I especially recommend going to Museo Etnológico de Riogordo a little local museum about Andalusian culture/ historical life it is a gem off the tourist beaten path. Enjoy! Wonderful house, spacious and decorated with pleasure. Environment of exuberant nature. Very spacious garden with a variety of trees and plants, views of the mountains, fountains, orchards, bird songs. The host is very kind. The ideal site for a relaxing retreat in a little known and surprising corner of the Sierra, surrounded by small towns and a half hour drive from the city of Granada and the Coast.
