Apartment in Granada
4.82 out of 5 average rating, 17 reviewsCasa Tapa, with a lovely breezy balcony

I enjoyed my stay at Casa Tapa. Since Granada has a warm temperature day and night, the apartment’s balcony with its rocking chairs facing Lake Nicaragua offers a great relief in the afternoons to read or zonk out. Screened windows are very helpful to prevent flying bugs (common in the tropics) from making you company while dining or sleeping. The TV needed access to watch the Euro soccer games - within 20 minutes the tech arrived and set it up accordingly. If you like warm showers, Casa Tapa is for you.

Excellent apartment, with living room and kitchen, very central half a block from Masaya Park, 3 blocks from the place where they sell hammocks and tourist market. The place was very clean, the air conditioning worked very well. Thank you for everything!!!

What an amazing find! This Airbnb is 15-20 mins away from Masaya, about an hour away from Managua. It's beautifully placed right above the Apoyo Lagoon, every time I woke up in the morning, I'd look out the windows and see several howler monkies! Maybe it's all the fruits growing nearby but they can't seem to get enough of being right there. To the left of the property, there's a trail that'll take you down to the lagoon, make sure to pack a looot of water and some snacks since it's a trek for sure. There's several vantage points of the lagoon nearby and on the trail, there's also a more popular trail with bars in Diria, the city over. There's a very cute guard dog (she's very friendly), a massive TV and super comfortable beds. The owners have clearly thought a lot about Airbnb, from chargers, extra toilet paper, loads of towels, etc, you've got everything set but some food. Make sure to stop by a local market before you come! But there is one within 20 min walking distance.

First off, this house is really the best Airbnb that I’ve been at in Nica. Perla’s house is beautiful. Chepito and Perla were wonderful to communicate, and provided super customer service. I definitely recommend. Here are my thoughts on the “cons”: There are 2 dogs that roamed the property. They followed us begging for food and barked all night. The master is very warm at night, it was difficult to sleep. The outdoor kitchen needed more supplies and it was difficult to cook with so many bugs, but that’s no one’s fault. It’s an outdoor kitchen and it’s very beautiful. Lastly, it’s not private. I was hoping a romantic private house with my fiancé, but workers and Chepito’s family kept coming to the property which made it uncomfortable for us to be alone. HOWEVER, I still think this house was worth it 100%. I appreciate the customer service and if you dont mind what I mentioned above, you will definitely have a great time here. It truly is a pretty home and worth the price.

The house is beautiful and very tastefully decorated. The kitchen is well equipped and there is even a washing machine. Through the small courtyard with garden, light and air comes in. Simply wonderful!
